We often get asked where do we provide our services - we have done beautiful events in the breath-taking city of Porto, or Oporto, located along the Douro River estuary in northern Portugal. Did you know that Porto is one of the oldest European centres, and its core was proclaimed a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1996, as "Historic Centre of Porto, Luiz I Bridge and Monastery of Serra do Pilar"?
Its combined Celtic-Latin name, Portus Cale has been referred to as the origin of the name Portugal, based on transliteration and oral evolution from Latin. In Portuguese, the name of the city includes a definite article: o Porto ("the port" or "the harbor"), which is where its English name "Oporto" comes from.
Port wine, one of Portugal's most famous exports, is named after Porto, since the metropolitan area, and in particular the cellars of Vila Nova de Gaia, were responsible for the packaging, transport, and export of fortified wine.
This amazing city, full of life and with a strong personality is served by a international airport, and can offer you the best of both worlds: a city-break for your guests, dazzling palaces for your event to take place and the most unforgettable wine experience whilst you are cruising the Douro river! The Douro wine producing region is right around the corner, with plenty of fabulous venues to discover.

The most special thing about weddings is that two individuals come together as one; two individuals will unite two families into one. Most of our clients have pets, in this case, Callie and Danny have two cats and a dog, who attended most of our meetings! As they couldn't really travel from the US to Portugal, we found a creative way to have them being part of Callie and Danny's special day!

The bouquet was designed to the tiniest detail to bring a splash of color that complements Callie's fabulous dress. Peonies and David Austin roses of different colors and sizes were used, combined with different types of greenery to make it an elegant and slightly deconstructed bouquet.

Once upon a time, Monica and Amir fell very much in love and soon they decided to get married. A pandemic was going through the world, which meant that Amir couldn't fly from London to the US to marry Monica. In August, I got an email to see if this "crazy" idea they both had, to get married in Portugal, where both families from the UK and US could attend, was possible. In early October, they said "I do" in one of the most beautiful ceremonies we have witnessed. The love, committment and respect these two have for one another warms my heart and they are an example of what the purpose of marriage should look like.
