Announcing INDIE X 2024!

The biggest indie game showcase in Portugal is back for another edition! INDIE X 2024 GAME SUBMISSIONS ARE NOW OPEN! SUBMIT YOUR GAME UNTIL SEPTEMBER 15th 2024!

This year, we’re committing to our partnership with Steam for the third year in a row and holding a digital edition of our yearly event that includes at least:

- A live-streamed showcase for Indie games hosted by RTP Arena, the Twitch channel of RTP – Portugal’s public TV network;

- A Steam Event and Sale with present and past finalists;

Our mission stays the same – made by indies for indies, Indie X is a games event that aims to promote the best indie games in the world for an awesome showcase with tons of networking and experience sharing! Stay tuned! We will be announcing more surprises in the days to come.

O GamIberica, a decorrer no MEO XL GAMES na Exponor, tem duas actividades. A primeira, o Iberian Games Summit, que decorrerá no auditório da Exponor, tem entrada gratuita, e registo obrigatório no site do evento www.gamiberica.org. Visto ser um evento dedicado à comunidade game dev portuguesa e espanhola, aproveitámos o facto do auditório ser independente dos pavilhões de feira para que o acesso seja gratuito para todos os interessados, tendo os custos associados ser suportados pelos organizadores.
O showcase dos jogos portugueses e espanhóis na iniciativa Indie X + Indiedevday estarão dentro dos pavilhões, logo à entrada, ao lado da PlayStation, e estando integrado dentro do MEO XL Games necessita de bilhete válido para a entrada.

Será no MEO XL Games o primeiro showcase de jogos independentes ibéricos, organizado pelos dois maiores festivais indie da região: o Indie X e o Indie Dev Day.

Serão 30 estúdios presentes a mostrar o imenso talento e criatividade que existem em Portugal e Espanha, e a lista de jogos e estúdios que poderão encontrar no evento são:

A primeira edição do GamIberica - Iberian Games Summit, decorrerá dia 24 de Novembro, no MEO XL GAMES , pelas 15 horas, no auditório da Exponor, com entrada gratuita.

O GamIberica é um evento destinado a estúdios, criadores, empresas, associações e demais agentes de game development e que terá 3 painéis distintos:

- um destinado aos desafios de estabelecer empresas na Península Ibérica,

- outro destinado à importância das incumbadoras nos dois territórios,

- e um terceiro onde será abordado o futuro dos estúdios independentes em Portugal, Espanha e no Mundo.

A edição de Novembro da Game Dev Meet terá lugar no auditório da Exponor, durante o MEO XL GAMES, dia 24 de Novembro pelas 18 horas, com entrada gratuita.

A Game Dev Meet é um evento de networking mensal organizado por estudantes do Núcleo de Computação Gráfica e Multimédia da Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto.

O seu objetivo é unir e apoiar a comunidade game dev portuguesa, especialmente na sua faixa etária mais jovem. Através de apresentações de projetos, recolhas de feedback, trocas de experiências e contactos formados. A Game Dev Meet visa proporcionar um ambiente que não só fomenta a evolução dos seus game developers, como abre a porta para aqueles que desejam entrar na área.

De 23 a 26 de Novembro de 2023, no MEO XL GAMES , na Exponor, vamos ter o primeiro showcase conjunto dos dois maiores eventos de jogos indie da Península Ibérica - Indie X e Indiedevday - criando uma exposição colectiva de estúdios e jogos portugueses e espanhóis.
Como é hábito nos eventos do Indie X, as booths serão gratuitas para todos os participantes. Cada booth terá um monitor, e as peças visuais de cada booth será paga pela organização.
Todos os inscritos terão também acesso gratuito à primeira edição do GamIberica - Iberian Games Summit, que terá lugar no Grande Auditório da Exponor, na sexta-feira, dia 24 de Novembro. Mais informações sobre o GamIberica serão anunciadas nos próximos dias.

ANNOUNCING INDIE X 2023 LISBON!

The biggest indie game showcase in Portugal is back live and in physical format.

This year, we are joining forces with the biggest B2B event in Eastern Europe, and one of the biggest video games B2B events in the world: DevGAMM

Both DevGAMM and Indie X will take place in The Oitavos Luxury Five-Star Hotel on November 16 and 17th of 2023. This event targets both professional and public audiences and will include:

A showcase with dozens of games from across the globe;
Live-streamed showcase for Indie games hosted by RTP Arena , the Twitch channel of Portugal’s public TV network;
A panel of renowned speakers by DevGamm;
A Steam Event and Sale with present and past finalists;

Our partnership with DevGamm will make the event even bigger and more complete, with B2B sessions hosted by our DevGamm partners. Additionally, we will still have a digital showcase a few weeks before the physical event.
