At the end of a very hot busy season my last ceremony this year was with the lovely Wesley and Serena who celebrated their wedding day here in the Algarve, a place they love. There was lots of laughter and a few happy tears too!
And when I went to say my goodbyes to the happy couple, the bride said ‘Robert, you really nailed it!’ What a fabulous finish to an amazing year 🥂
I would like to add my congratulations to all those couples that I’m sorry I didn’t get around to making a posting about - wishing you all a magical journey in your married lives together 🥂

Can’t believe it’s already been over a week when I had the pleasure of conducting Marie and Jason’s wedding. Portuguese family and friends who flew back to the Algarve from Canada. What a fabulous day🥂

At the beginning of June Sally and Stuart celebrated their wedding day at the always lovely Quinta Jacintina which included a family hand binding. They also spoke heartfelt vows to one another and my unisex tissues were in much demand!
Today I received this much appreciated thank you email............Hi Robert, We are finally back down to earth and home after the most amazing Wedding. Thank you so much for guiding us through it and making it a day we will never forget. Does Stu win the award for most tearful Groom! Thanks again. It was so lovely to meet you and work with you. A beautiful day for a fabulous wedding. Most of the men including the Groom wore kilts with the full regalia. There was an 18 year old single malt to be used for the Quaich ritual, which the bride and groom thoroughly enjoyed 🥂

A great ceremony on ‘The Rock’ yesterday for Killian and Vikki. Killian and his Groomsmen were so cool 😎 When Vikki walked down the aisle and I told the Groom to turn around to take a look we had a chin wobble moment , then followed a relaxed ceremony with lots of laughter 🥂
