Rockaway Productions

Rockaway Productions has a long history live music . . . . Peter first met Maiken for coffee in August 2009 and shared live music stories and started a friendship. Maiken was the lead singer with 5AM and Peter was the lead singer and bass player with The Exiles and 7 years later Maiken joined The Exiles and a live music partnership started, first on stage and then with Rockaway Productions. Maiken is still the lead singer with The Exiles and Peter is now back in Scotland with his new band No Label.

With over 35 years playing live, Peter is no stranger to the stage. He has performed in bands in Scotland and in Saudi Arabia before arriving in Qatar in 2006, where he was spotted performing at Dunestock in his trademark black kilt (with his usual energetic stage antics) by The Exiles, and became their bassist in 2007. When the singer left The Exiles in 2010, Peter took to the microphone and has became one of the most recognised band frontmen in Doha. He has met and encouraged musicians, singers and performers to get on stage and also form some bands. In May 2016 he organised his first music festival in Doha and hasn’t looked back since.

Maiken is a Danish rock singer with over two decades of experience. Always on the move, Maiken has sung everything everything from rock to pop across Europe, America and in now in Qatar. Only when Maiken joined The Exiles in 2016 did she really start to live up to her “Rock Chick’ persona. On a professional level Maiken has over 5 years as an Events Manager running some of the biggest events in Qatar including Fashion Shows, Gallery Openings, Graduations, Conferences and of course Live Music Events.

Rockaway Productions offers a professional service for our clients and our artists/bands. Our clients as well as our artists/bands are of highest importance and we will ensure that only performers of a high standard are placed in your venue. We take the provision of entertainment services very seriously and make a point to understand the needs of the clients, the artists and importantly the guests at the event/venue. Our professional approach will start from the very beginning of our partnership and will continue throughout the life of the partnership. Providing, not only our clients with the highest standard of service but also the artists/bands that same level of service is key to our success.
