First debuting in 2023, Hard Techno alias ‘MXGN’ has quickly made a name for himself with his high-energy acid, industrial synths, hypnotic melodies, and distorted kicks. His unique sound has garnered recognition and support from major artists like 999999999, Nico Moreno, Oliver Heldens, Charlie Sparks, DYEN, Stan Christ, DION, Shlomo, and many others.

Welcoming AMETHYSTA as the 50th guest on the inTension Podcast!

Caroline Valença, the creator of the AMETHYSTA project, is a multi-talented artist from Brasília, Brazil. As a DJ and music producer, Amethysta has achieved pioneer status by becoming the first woman to release a solo EP through the respected label Decreto. Titled “Dark Feminine,” this EP immerses listeners in a dark and mysterious atmosphere, combining elements of techno and psy in an elegant and captivating manner.

The recognition of AMETHYSTA extends beyond borders. Her mixes have already been featured in major electronic centers, including a tour in São Paulo, Brazil. Currently, she is an ambassador for Divinity Records (Mexico). Her releases have attained notable positions on Beatport, appearing in the Top 100 Global Releases and the Top 10 Releases Peak Time/Driving (Decreto/Brazil), as well as reaching the Top 5 Releases Hard Techno (Basse-Cour Records/Italy).

AMETHYSTA’s musical identity is a fusion of genres, highlighting the dichotomy between techno and trance, the visceral and the spiritual, resulting in a yin-yang present in her work. Her project brings a bit of the rave culture to the clubber culture and vice versa, valuing BPM changes without being confined to limits.

Welcoming TIKO (DE) as the 48th guest on the inTension Podcast!

Tiko, also known as Tim Kochanski, is a German Techno DJ and producer from Gelsenkirchen, Germany. Fascinated by electronic sounds since the early 1990s, his interest in Techno music grew significantly over the years.

In 2005, he received his first Technics turntables and a Pioneer DJM600, allowing him to rapidly improve his DJ skills. He soon began presenting his unique definition of Techno at early gigs, establishing himself as a DJ and producer in the Techno scene.

To date, he has played at legendary clubs such as Butan Club in Wuppertal, Studio in Essen, Fusion in Münster, and Rheingold in Düsseldorf. He has also performed at festivals like Nature One in Kastellaun and Ruhr in Love in Oberhausen.

As the co-founder of Partykumpel Ruhrgebiet, he not only hosts his own parties but is also a regular guest at the ACID WARS and TECHNO RULEZ! parties in Münster and the Ruhr area.

A few years ago, feeling that playing tracks by other artists was no longer enough, he began producing his own Techno music. He discovered his style through Ableton Live and now presents his very own definition of Techno music.

Welcoming Veronique as the 47th guest on the inTension Podcast!

Veronique is a DJ-Producer based in Poznan, Poland. Known for her relentless Hard Techno style, she demonstrates this by driving her engines on three CDJs. She is also the proud “demon mommy” of the renowned label The Meaning Of Rave.

Veronique was the director behind the first two legal events held during the pandemic: The Meaning Of Rave 48h x Las Palace and the TMOR CAMP 2021 movie shooting plan. She has organized over 40 events under The Meaning Of Rave. Since she was four years old, she has been deeply connected to music and its culture. Six years ago, she discovered her true love for hard electronic music and started rocking dancefloors in clubs across Poland, Europe, and even in Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico, Peru, and Russia. Her productions are supported by Somewhen, Dax J, Paula Temple, and Lee Ann Roberts, among others.

Veronique’s taste for underground music is broad, combining hard-hitting rave-style drums with schranz, old-school, and industrial sounds, topped with a flare of emotional melodies and vocals. She is described as “an absolute energetic devil on decks!”

Jorge and Natan have shared a lifetime of experiences with a deep passion for experimentalism and the underground electronic scene. They fully immersed themselves, becoming integral to its evolution.

Their project springs from a love for dancefloors, presenting performances filled with noise, unexpected sounds, and dark structures. Jorge’s style is marked by distorted, frantic sounds and violent beats, while Natan favors intense beats with deep breaks and dramatic melodies.

Their aggressive visual identity complements their intense sound and transitions, resulting in a powerful, varied experience. Active since the scene’s early stages, they have significantly influenced the dark electronic landscape in southern Brazil, particularly in Santa Catarina.

Beyond music, they founded Tegron Clothing and co-founded the Phobia Project/Phobia Skin nucleus. TEGRON, their musical project, merges Techno, Hard, Hardcore, and Industrial music with their unique artistic journeys.

The Romanian artist synthesizes her hyperactive yet sensitive personality into her music, ranging from high-energy to dark and groovy Techno.
Her musical journey began in the Netherlands during her university years, where she became completely immersed in the Dutch Techno scene. She describes that experience as, “you feel like you’ve been roaming around all your life and all of a sudden you find where you belong. It was all about the music.”

She started collecting vinyl and spent a lot of time at record shops in Amsterdam, teaching herself how to DJ. A common trait in her life, many of her skills are self-taught. Techno resonates with her hyperactive personality and sensitive nature, which is reflected in how she builds her sets. The musical journeys she creates are always a mix of high energy, groove, and emotional moments.

Her recent release, “Gracias a la Vida,” gained global attention after Indira Paganotto played her track at Mainstage Tomorrowland. In the aftermath, Andra has been featured in Rolling Stone, CNN Latin America, Rock & Pop, and La Nación.

Tao Andra has brought her timeless sound to many corners of the world, from Brazil to Australia, Germany to India and Albania to Chile.

Welcoming Raden (UK) as the 43rd guest on the inTension Podcast!

Starting out in 2015, Raden (real name Andre Williams) wanted to recreate the music he heard at house and techno raves during his late teens. It was here that his passion for music production and DJing began. Raden committed himself to developing his musical talents alongside his university studies, earning releases on a variety of labels in 2016. He then took a break to focus solely on his education and work life. By late 2021, Raden found the time to devote to music production again, returning to the techno raves that had originally inspired him, and developing new tracks from there.

Drawing inspiration from the likes of Charlotte de Witte, Pan-Pot, Enrico Sangiuliano, and Carl Cox, Raden has the ability to produce music at a complex level, securing releases on numerous top techno labels and hearing his tracks played all across Europe.

Raden’s sets are inspired by his deep love of music and the journey it can take listeners on, and he is keen to provide a techno experience like no other.

Ada Kaleh, a Bucharest-based musician and composer, releases innovative music on esteemed labels like R&S Records and Apollo Records. With over 20 years of experience and multiple aliases, including Ada Kaleh and Supersanity, he blends hypnotic rhythms and organic sounds, transcending genre boundaries. Inspired by spiritual jazz and psychedelic textures, he describes his recent work as Quantum Techno.

During the span of two decades as a performer, Ada Kaleh has played venues all around the globe, including iconic places who have been at the forefront of techno culture since the early ‘90s such as: Tresor Berlin, Rex Club Paris, Fuse Brussels, Culture Box Copenhagen, Supermarket Zurich, Pacha Ibiza, Goa Rome, the now defunct Output in New York and countless other esteemed clubs, warehouses and festivals.

He now focuses on building a vibrant techno scene in Bucharest and Romania, promoting inclusivity and tolerance among all techno enthusiasts, regardless of background or orientation.
