New High-Performance Shredder Hits the Market

Eggersmann Impaktor GmbH has launched the Eggersmann IMPAKTOR, a compact twin-shaft shredder designed for both crushing and shredding. This mobile machine, developed in collaboration with Norbert Hammel, delivers up to 110 tonnes per hour, making it a game-changer for processing construction waste, concrete, and various waste types.

Managing Director Karlgünter Eggersmann emphasizes that while the IMPAKTOR has been widely imitated, the original remains unmatched in performance and versatility. With interchangeable shafts, a magnetic separator, and dust suppression features, the machine is tailored for efficiency and ease of use.

Holcim’s Board of Directors has proposed Kim Fausing as Chairman of the Board, subject to shareholder approval at the 2025 Annual General Meeting.

A Holcim Board member since 2020 and current Audit Committee member, Fausing brings extensive leadership experience as President and CEO of the Danfoss Group, a global leader in energy-efficient solutions, since 2017.

Jan Jenisch, Holcim’s current Chairman, praised Fausing’s qualifications, citing his successful tenure as CEO and his contributions to Holcim’s Board. This proposal aligns with Jenisch’s decision not to stand for re-election as he assumes his new role as Chairman and CEO of Holcim’s planned North American company.

Holcim has appointed its future Board members and CEO as part of its planned listing of the North American business, marking a significant milestone in the company’s growth strategy.

Jan Jenisch, currently Chairman of Holcim, will serve as the designated Chairman and CEO of the planned North American company. With a proven track record as Holcim’s CEO from 2017 to 2024, Jenisch will lead the spin-off, which is expected to be completed by mid-2025, pending shareholder and customary approvals.

The designated Board of Directors includes nine highly experienced independent members. Together, they bring deep expertise across construction, industrial operations, and financial services, ensuring strong governance and strategic leadership. This team reflects Holcim’s commitment to creating superior value for shareholders, customers, employees, and stakeholders as it prepares its North American business to operate as an independent public company.
