Funk Flow

Funk Flow So many beautiful tunes in this world. Somebody just needs to share them. Groovy. His parents must have been listening to good music when they conceived him.

He remembers Starway to Heaven before he was born, but he must be lying, there’s no way you can remember stuff while you’re in your mom’s belly. He was already making money in the 90’s, selling illegal copies of his music to expand his cassette collection, while meeting most of today’s Romanian hip-hop heroes at Universitate, where they were basically doing the same thing. He was doing sh*t-loads

of parties in high-school and college and it looked like he was set for a career in music, but advertising and communications kidnapped him from this path so for the next almost 20 years he kept music as a passion and a hobby. Mostly known in his circles as Flow (he is very proud of this nickname as it comes from The Chemical Brothers’ Ed Simons) he added the Funk bit to reflect his tastes when it comes to DJing. Played since returning to the decks at Ota, Atelier Mecanic (one of the residents there), Beat, For Friends, Dianei 4, Molotov, La Pescarie, Bazaar, Panic, to name but a few. Our Story

Playing cool obscure tunes way before becoming popular, since 1990. In it for the love of music, not the do’s or the spotlight.

He was doing sh*t-loads of parties in high-school and college and it looked like he was set for a career in music, but advertising and communications derailed him from this path so for the next almost 20 years he kept music as a passion and a hobby. Played since returning to the decks at Ota, Atelier Mecanic, Beat, For Friends, Jacq Pot, Londohome, Kuma, Dianei 4, Manasia, Molotov, La Pescarie, Oasis, Bazaar, Panic, J’ai Bistrot, Rockers Vinyl Coffee Shop, to name a few.
