Genesis international film festival (GIFF) is a creative competition where everyone can show their talent and be judged by a highly professional jury.

GIFF was born out of the need to discover new talent among filmmakers - from filmmakers to CGIs.

Dear filmmakers and colleagues,
Submissions for the competitive programs of the Genesis International Film Festival 2025 are now closed.
This season we received a record 1,689 submissions. We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who submitted their films and materials.
If you were unable to submit this season, we invite you to participate next year. Dates and regulations will be announced on GIFF’s official channels.

Dear friends!

The submission window for Genesis International Film Festival 2025 is heading into the final stretch—some categories have already closed. 🎉

Our jury has already begun screening every film submitted. This year we received a record number of entries, and each one is unique.

The selection results and the list of finalists will be announced after 15 September 2025. Stay tuned to our website for updates and be the first to learn the names of the winners.

In a small Mediterranean island village, it’s the last day, of the last summer, of Rosalie, 18, at her father’s, César, 80. With her baccalaureate in hand, Rosalie will leave in a few hours to continue her studies in London.
But that day, Rosalie and César lose their dog, Neptune.
As they set off together in search of him, the tensions and the unspoken resurface.

Peaupulaire is above all a journey into the inner self of a 20-year-old girl with all the ambitions and fears of someone that she always has to stage out the best possible version of herself. Drawing clothes gives her the illusion that she can shed skin whenever she feels suffocating in her own. Cinema is a tunnel that connects dreams to reality and once the threshold is crossed, all becomes possible.
