DJ Jazz Glove - that's Mr Glove to you, Richard to his mother - started off playing records on the mod scene. Gigs in UK, USA, Greece, Italy, Norway, Spain and Germany. Hard hitting r'n'b, latin and soul jazz from the 60s, all on original 45s. A while ago he got fed up with the silly prices those records fetch. He realised how many 12 inch records he could buy at Snickars instead of buying a rare soul 45 for say 300 GBP. With his experience and charm he has rather quickly become quite a name within deep house circles. He can't beat mix to save his life but his cheeky smile and great sense for tunes does save him.

Jo Bubbles invites you to his world of many influences and expressions; producer, DJ, party organizer and dancing enthusiast. Behind the name is Jonas, a father figure of Stockholm's small but abundantly equipped disco scene.

The Jo Bubbles persona is a fairly new aquaintence among Stockholm’s many DJs, and with the new packaging comes new music from Jo’s basement studio, a humble man cave in the suburb of Bagarmossen. This is where his daydreaming of the worlds many colorful dancefloors is being translated to harmony. Songs are electronic and naively melodic, far from intelligent and far from the mainstream, but with a solid foundation of throbbing patterns, rhythm and bass. It’s surely “for the dancefloor”, though not for the main room.
