Hope everyone has had a wonderful New Year and Christmas ..
Re Dementia / Alzheimers UK Busk from John O'Groats to Lands end 2025
So as i rise from my bed to begin rehearsals for a new play today it has really dawned on me the magnitude of this challenge I have set myself for next year. However after so many messages of help, ideas and encouragement I think its time to really move forward with this and build a team.
As you can imagine I've never organised , planned or put myself through anything quite like it before but I feel at this point on my journey in this mad life its time to just get on with it and try and do something.
There are so many of us effected by this awful disease in so many different ways and looking at my own situation within my own family its time to act on for sure.
Firstly before I do anything I need someone or even people that has the knowledge and time to help co ordinate the whole thing. My plan is to begin walking as close to April as possible next year stopping at various towns and cities along the way to busk for dementia charities. I think I definitely need at least 3 months put aside but I'm probably wrong as I'm clueless to it all haha. Anyway so it begins !
