As a part of The Snowball we have a dance camp for everyone who is 8-17 years old where you learn Lindy hop, authentic jazz, tap and streetdance. Enric Peidro Swingtet
Tenor saxophonist Enric Peidro is a leading figure in the international swing scene, known for his deep knowledge of classic jazz and creative, tradition-rooted style. With an extensive discography and collaborations with top swing musicians, Peidro is celebrated as a “keeper of the flame” for classic jazz in Spain.

His band, the Enric Peidro Swingtet, formed in 2016, features top international musicians and has quickly become a major force in classical jazz. They’ve released four albums, including the acclaimed “Live at Jazzazza” (2019).

The Swingtet draws inspiration from the Swing era but aims to creatively reinterpret this music for modern audiences. Their dynamic live shows, elegant stage presence, and lively enthusiasm make their performances unforgettable for both music and dance lovers.

🎧 Meet the DJs:
Nii Attoh-Okine ‘DJ Nii’
At the suggestion of a friend, Nii discovered Lindy Hop at the University of Delaware in 2016. Known for always having his headphones on, he quickly fell in love with the sounds of big band swing. Now based in Baltimore, he DJs locally at Mobtown Ballroom and has also staff DJed at events both nationally and internationally. As a DJ, Nii’s goal is to create a night filled with a variety of moods and themes that dancers will regret stepping away from. While his favorite bandleader is currently Duke Ellington, he has recently been exploring the works of Earl Hines, Ziggy Elman, and Harry James.

🎧 Meet the DJs:
Hanna is a passionate Lindy Hopper and Solo Jazz instructor based in Vienna. Wildy known as Hurricane Hanna, she brings passion and momentum to the dance floor, be it as a dancer or on decks. She loves a good horn section and is especially interested in Kansas City Jazz. If you want to nerd out about Swing Music, find her in the DJ-booth!

Dara likes his music like he likes his whiskey: aged and mellow. He was born under a bad sign in Holland and has danced, taught, and DJ’ed all over Europe.

Infamous on the blues & swing dance circuit for his outstanding DJ skills, Dara meticulously researches new music, discovers rare treasures, and delights in serving up the new favourite song you’ve never heard.

With Dara, every set is like New Year’s Eve—absolute bangers from sundown to sunup.

DJing for dancers who dig the vibes of classic swing is a real honor for Anton. Based in Malmö, Sweden, he has been an indefatigable collector of catchy swing songs for the past twenty-five years. The music has been gathered from records of all formats and online at The Great 78 Project at archive.org.

Since discovering the blues, Leigh has succumbed hopelessly to its charms. Leigh has passion for the widest variety of blues, and knows how to pick just the right song to keep the floor groovin’.

She’s been bringing the essence of the sultry, soulful blues to dance floors around the world for many years and when she’s not behind the decks or on the dance floor, you’ll probably find her on the hunt for the next track that brings extra richness and depth to her blues collection.
