Let's dive into a controversial topic 🤮: Is Guo Da Li about selling the bride?

Absolutely not! This arises because Pin Jin, often coined as the bride's price, can sound derogatory. Guo Da Li is a traditional exchange of gifts between families, not a transaction!

Many are familiar with the popular term Guo Da Li, but may not be aware of 回礼 Hui Li, which involves the returning of gifts. The bride's family actually has to purchase a set of gifts for their son-in-law and return a portion of gifts back to the groom!
