Received the Nikon ZF today from Nikon Singapore to try this camera for a week. Today’s the first day and I am loving this so far.
This camera gets a lot more hate than love on the internet. After using it for the last 1 hour, I don’t know why it gets that much hate. The grip, the weight. Come on compare to the DSLR DAYS, this is a dream.

Capturing Life’s Precious Moments - My Story

Full time Professional for over 10 years.

I am a Nikon Shooter. So how do I get started in a Nikon?

Well the story started before I actually owned a camera during my secondary school days. I have a professional friend who uses Nikon and when I asked which camera to purchase to kick start my hobby, Nikon was mentioned. So this was how it all started and the rest was history.

I did some years with the 35mm film photography during that time.

Fast forward to 2007, with the dawn of the new digital era, I purchased my first digital Nikon, a Nikon D80.

Digital was really what got me into this business of photography

I made a trip to Australia some years ago where I had the opportunity to bring my camera up into the air on a hot air balloon tour. I shot quite an extensive number of photographs while I was in the hot air balloon. The experience was really astounding. The air was cool, place was serene, it was like the sky and I, was one. it was really a great feeling that I would never forget.

When I came back to Singapore, I had the privilege to share all these amazing moments and photos with my family and friends. I told them my stories throughout my pictures.

And the fact that I can get to re-live those unforgettable moments and experiences again through sharing the story,… is priceless.

And that's how I think what photography is about.

It is about helping us to remember and relive those moments which we could or may easily have forgotten. Like those moments with your love ones, the ones you cherish and the times you spent together.

That is my photography.
