I was recently invited to be a judge for the ISPWP Wedding Photography Contest Spring 2025, and I'm truly honored to be back after several years. It's incredibly inspiring to see so many outstanding works from talented photographers around the world. As I review each entry, I can vividly imagine how those incredible moments were captured during the actual events—it brings back so many memories from my own experiences.
What stands out to me now more than ever is my deep appreciation for genuine, unscripted moments. They hold such powerful emotion and authenticity.
That said, I do feel for some participants whose images were strong but placed in the wrong categories. It's a reminder that understanding the nuances of each category is just as important as the photograph itself.
Well, it's a real joy to be a judge again. All the best and good luck to all the participants—your work is inspiring! ☺️
