Nonyanita's very first private dining! – on 31 May 2024. Thanks to more than 30 guests who gave us this novel opportunity to launch this long akan-datang passion project! Bustling, boisterous, a total blast! Volunteer sous chefs (straight from office with their long sleeved shirts all ready to help me slice that itek sio and sam cham bak!) celebrity waiter, bartender, and more... And what's the icing on the 3 Sugee cakes? Celebrating the birthdays of 3 birthday boys (men!) ! Many thanks to Evelyn Chew, a diner (also pro video production house owner) who volunteered to put together this video for us, with photo contribution from other diners too! Blessed. 🌶️❤️🍷

Welcome to Nonyanita Peranakan Fine Dining and experience a slice of time from a bygone, borrowed era. Sometimes bustling, at times intimate, it is a throw-back to an age when people took the time, amongst family and friends, to enjoy a lavish, leisurely Peranakan meal, prepared with the family chef’s bare hands and always with the lesong ie the pestle and mortar – the symbol of a heritage cuisine craft that is in danger of fast slipping us by. I feel a deep sense of love and a strong sense of respect and responsibility for the heritage recipes that my beloved late Mum taught me over the years, painstakingly, one pestle pound at a time – that I now choose to share with you, dining guests in my humble home.
