On my little break, I stumbled upon something so common yet so often overlooked—snow fungus. I first spotted it dried at a storefront, its ruffled edges catching the light, its earthy scent spilling gently into the street. By the time I got home, I couldn’t resist—I ran straight to the supermarket and brought a box back with me.

I’m not quite sure what I’ll be making with it just yet, but there’s something exciting in that uncertainty. Sometimes the beauty lies in letting an ingredient—or a material—speak for itself. All I know is that this snow fungus is destined for something special, and I can’t wait to see where a little curiosity and creativity will take my hands.

When I started Twist The Willow Twig, I honestly had no idea what I wanted it to be. No clear goals, no fancy labels, no grand plan—just me, flowers, and a little spark of curiosity.

Over time, though, the vision grew clearer. I realised what I wanted wasn’t just to create floral crafts, but to shape a way of living—a gentle lifestyle where people slow down, savour beauty, and celebrate the everyday moments that often pass us by.
