This piece is called Blooming Within — crafted from a Buddha nut pod cradling an arrangement of dried and preserved flowers in soft, neutral hues. It’s as if these delicate blooms are quietly bursting from the hard shell, a poetic contrast of strength and gentleness.

A little backstory: I found these Buddha nut pods at a weekend market in Europe a few years ago. The moment I saw them, I knew I wanted to turn them into a home décor piece… but I left them untouched for the longest time. 😅 So much procrastination for something so small!

But creativity doesn’t always arrive on schedule. Sometimes it takes time—and sometimes, time brings you exactly what you need. Blooming Within is a reminder of that: it’s not always about how quickly you begin, but how beautifully things can unfold in the end.

Only one of these has been made, and it’s now available on my website! Let me know if it calls out to you 🌿

There’s something truly special about those moments when you’re given the opportunity to craft something for a family. It’s more than just creating a beautiful piece—it’s about being invited into a memory, a story, or a shared experience that holds meaning beyond the flowers and materials used.

Whether it’s for a celebration, a keepsake, or simply something to bring joy into their space, I never take these opportunities for granted. Being trusted to create something heartfelt and personal for someone’s home or loved ones is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.

Mini Delphiniums are truly something out of a fairytale—light, airy, and delicate. From fresh to dried, and now preserved in resin, each tiny white bloom is gently encased to hold on to all its dainty charm.

These flowers were so fragile after drying that I had to coat them in resin just to keep them intact before even beginning to work with them.

I’m still not quite sure what they’ll become just yet—earrings, a bracelet, or maybe a necklace?
Either way, I’m so excited to see where they take me.

Which would you love to wear?

After almost two months of patient waiting, my Lunaria has finally dried—inside out. 🌿 Now comes the most satisfying part: gently peeling back the layers to reveal those delicate, silvery moons.

As simple as it all seemed, I was honestly quite nervous about how this would turn out. I’ve never worked with Lunaria before—and before bringing home these fresh stems, I did my research. It all looked easy enough… or so I thought. But my first leaf? A total disaster. 😣 The delicate, silvery membrane hidden between the seed pods is paper-thin—almost like the fragile tissue paper you find in gift packaging. One wrong move, and it tears.
But after a few tries (and a few deep breaths), I think I finally got the hang of it. Trust the process, right?

It’s definitely not as easy as it looks—and now I understand why Lunaria costs what it does. The care, the time, the precision… it’s a craft in itself.

It’s always a quiet kind of magic—watching time and nature do their work. 🌙✨

Over the weekend, it hit me—we’re already halfway through the year.

I headed to town for the first time in what felt like ages, and everything was buzzing—crowds, events, the holiday energy slowly building. It’s that time of year again, full and fast-paced.

But it also reminded me how rare and precious it is to just be a homebody. To stay in, slow down, and simply let the day settle. Sometimes, the most meaningful moments are the quietest ones. ✨

There’s something incredibly special about creating a piece that doesn’t follow tradition but instead follows her story, her energy. For this floral ear cuff, she wanted just one type of fresh flower—no mix, no fuss. But she also wanted texture, movement, depth… a statement that would quietly turn heads.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It’s in the folds, the layers, the way each petal catches the light. A reminder that even simplicity can be bold, and that a single flower, thoughtfully arranged, can say everything.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This fresh floral ear cuff was designed to bloom with her, just for a moment in time. 💐

I never got around to sharing this little story—a fun encounter with an unexpected outcome.

Early last year, I was invited to be on MONEY FM 89.3, and during the prep, I met the most wonderful producer. Before the segment aired, she needed to come up with a title and asked to sit down with me for a quick chat to get to know me better.

I honestly wasn’t expecting much—but what she came up with blew me away. She titled the segment "Pixels to Petals."

It instantly struck a chord. Before Twist The Willow Twig, I was a full-time graphic designer—spending most of my days behind a screen, creating digital content. And now? I work with flowers—real, tangible, imperfectly beautiful things. To capture that entire journey in just three words felt like pure magic.

Isn’t it amazing how sometimes, someone else can see your story so clearly?
“Pixels to Petals”—it really says it all.

What do you think? Does it resonate with you too?

Spring has Sprung!

These soft yellow ruffled Lisianthus reminded me of little lemon meringue tarts—light, delicate, and full of quiet charm. It's my first time working with Lisianthus, and I couldn't resist experimenting with these beauties.

What other art form is as fleeting as flowers—demanding that we pause, notice, and cherish what exists only in this moment? For that reason alone, it holds a kind of magic that feels priceless.

Keep blooming, especially when the days feel heavy. 🌼
