When I started Twist The Willow Twig, I honestly had no idea what I wanted it to be. No clear goals, no fancy labels, no grand plan—just me, flowers, and a little spark of curiosity.

Over time, though, the vision grew clearer. I realised what I wanted wasn’t just to create floral crafts, but to shape a way of living—a gentle lifestyle where people slow down, savour beauty, and celebrate the everyday moments that often pass us by. That’s what TTWT has become for me, and I hope it can be the same for you too. 🌸🌿✨

Sometimes the middle of the week feels like a blur, sometimes it’s the sweet pause before the weekend rolls in.

Lately, my hands have been dancing around my signature omakase willow hoop—a circle of dried and preserved blooms that feels like time paused in its most poetic form. A reminder that even in the rush of days, beauty can be held, savored, and kept close.

✨ Ever seen flowers dance? ✨
That’s exactly what my latest piece, ||WILD GARDEN||, is all about—a playful, abstract display of airy, flowy grasses that bring the true meaning of rustic charm to life. 🌾
Think of it as a grass sculpture that sways with the wind, filling your home with deep, earthy accents and a touch of natural movement.

This piece was born from a memory of mine—sitting alone in a foreign land, on a bed of grass, listening to the music of the wind as it moved through the fields. I wanted to capture that same light, airy feeling and bring it alive here, in this piece of floral art. 🌬️

Florists, you’ll get this… sometimes you have to make the material you can’t find! 🌿✨

Guess what my studio smells like today? That rich, earthy scent of fresh grass is filling every corner — and I’m obsessed.

Lately, my Pinterest feed has been overflowing with those gorgeous shredded-grass arrangements, so I decided to try it myself. Since thinly shredded dried grass is almost impossible to find in Singapore, I improvised — running a metal comb through fresh tall grass until I had the perfect fine strands.

The result? A little handmade magic and a whole lot of nature indoors. 🌱 I already know exactly what these will be for… stay tuned! 💛
