Adults workshop. We hosted a small team building sewing workshop for this group from Ilham Childcare. They had fun making their own version of tote bag. Great job!!

Make A Stuffie party workshop. Kids get to choose the fabric they want, the animal they want to make, trace the patterns, practice sewing, sewing their patterns and stuffing their animals ! As usual we have our very popular Make A Stuffie project. Kids get to make Penguin, Dolphin, Owl, Kitty Cat, Puppy and many many more stuffies we have in house.
If you have too many Stuffies already, how about making a personalize pillow with your name or your loved ones.
And lastly we introduce our new project, tote bag with a twist. Make them into your fav animals. Unicorn tote bag, Kitty cat tote bag or bunny tote bag. Yes! If you are creative, you can make anything! 🥰🥰

We are excited to start our fashion class today. It’s the first day and kids had a lot of fun learning about the use of sewing machine and all the buttons and functions of it. They were so good with their hand sewing, sewing buttons and making pin cushions. They measured themselves so they can make their first ever garment next week! They chose their favorite fabrics and also learn about patterns. How to look at patterns in the fabrics and how they should cut them. Yes! Sewing is not just cut and sew but there are so many technical terms to learn! Stay tune for more fun posts about our little fashion designers.

Amazing job by these 2 girls, they are 7 and 9 years old, no sewing experience and such fast learners. Learning can happen anywhere and here in Crafty whizz we encourage kids to make mistakes because only by making mistakes they learn to make new things and be adventurous. We love to document the process of making something from scratch. Parents are always wowed by how their children as young as 6 years old is able to sew with the sewing machine and make a Stuffie, tote bag, pillows, bucket hats, dolls and more.
