✨Meet the team: Eugenia Sparkles✨⁠

Eugenia Sparkles, educator and performer, graduated from LASALLE College of the Arts with a BA(Hons) in Musical Theatre in 2023; equipping her with the singing, dancing and acting skills she has been passionate about since a young age. She has also been a part of the TYA (Theatre for Young Audiences) shows; including playing Betty in ‘The Missing Pages’.

She is now living out her childhood dream of performing on the stage but her journey into performing, and teaching children storytelling & music, began during her teenage years; when she first served in the church.

Eugenia, and her trusty ukelele, enjoy bringing fun and enriching musical experiences for the younger generations; watching each child bloom into a one-of-a-kind performer!🎶

✨Meet the team: Priscilla Sparkles✨⁠

Priscilla Sparkles has always loved singing, dancing and music. She has been playing the piano since she was four years old, and now enjoys playing the ukulele as well.

She received her Grade 8 Piano (Practical and Theory) certification from The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM), and started teaching piano to young children. In 2012, she relocated to Shanghai with her family, where she qualified as a Music Specialist for ‘Music Together’, a US-based early childhood music program. Priscilla taught their music program for mixed-age family classes and pre-schools.

Priscilla is so happy to be part of the Lucy Sparkles & Friends Singapore team; her radiant smile and genuine passion for music bring joy to all who attend her classes!💛

Hire a Lucy Sparkles & Friends professional entertainer!

🦄 Our party entertainers are very flexible and happy to come to your home, early years setting, or hired venue.

🦄 Suitable for children aged one to six in London, Surrey and Essex.

Sparkle Parents: last week we discussed how repetition in our class benefits social, emotional, and language development.

It also strengthens children's memory skills as they anticipate what comes next in familiar songs.🧠

By hearing the same songs or musical phrases repeatedly, they grow more accustomed to the sounds and tones, which also helps develop auditory processing skills.👂

This repetition helps children to internalise the songs, laying the foundation to introduce more complex musical concepts as they progress to our classes for older children!

Join us NEXT WEEK from the 19-25 August ‘A Family Day Out’ event to celebrate the launch of UPPA BABY in Great World City Atrium!

We are so excited to present our latest stage show: Sing-A-Long LIVE with Lucy Sparkles & Friends! ✨

A favourite among younger audiences, featuring beloved nursery rhymes and timeless children’s action songs.

The show also includes a magical wishing song, where our entertainer engages directly with the children in the audience, along with puppetry, guitar or ukulele accompaniment, and lively choreographed dancing that gets the little ones on their feet.

Have you noticed that many of our songs begin on quite a high pitch and have simple melodies with only a few notes?🎶 Our goodbye song 'Tick Tock' is no exception - with only two notes! This is because young children only have a vocal range of about five notes. So if we sing using a LIMITED range of higher notes, the children will be able to sing in tune when they're ready to join in! If we sing using a wide range of lower notes, the children may sing out of tune or not join in. ✨Learn more in class!✨

Sparkle Parents: remember to join in with singing and the actions during class!⁠👏👋 ⁠ This will maximise the musical and educational benefits of the class📈⁠ ⁠ When you join in with the actions, the children can see and hear the correct pulse. You can maximise this by gently tapping the pulse on your child as you sing, so they can feel the pulse too.⁠ ⁠ Lastly, your child is more familiar with you than the teacher, so are much more likely to model your⁠ behaviour than the teacher.
