Football in Sierra Leone was in total shambles for almost a decade. Just as how the Israelites were under the Egyptians. For almost three decades our darling *Leone Stars* couldn't show her beautiful face at the African Cup of Nations *(Afcons)* due to poor structures, and administration.

The home League was nothing good to write home about. It was like *EDSA* electricity supply on and off. Female Football in the country was unstructured and less competitive. Grassroots Football was in total wilderness.

Sierra Leone Football enthusiasts knew nothing about green pitches. The only one we could brag of by then was the National Stadium which was not even up to international standards. The FA Cup was brought to a halt.

Football in the country turns out to be a myth. The fanatics and enthusiasts of this lovely sport took a quiet moment to call on the God of the Israelites to intervene as Sierra Leone Football was dying. The hopes of the talented youths in Football was going down the drain.

Then God said unto them I will send you a redeemer another Moses who will take Sierra Leone Football to the promised land. He will remedy you from all football-related issues and problems within the shortest possible time. His name is *Thomas Daddy Brima (TDB)*.

Indeed God answered our prayers. He sent us the Moses of Sierra Leone Football. In his first term of office, Sierra Leone Qualified for the *African Cup of Nations* after failing to qualify for almost three decades. The Sierra Leone Premier League became electrified and super competitive, The Female National League turned out to be something remarkable in the eyes of Sierra Leoneans. The National First Division for both males and females got a huge junk of national flavor. Grassroots Football is more than amazing as seen in the current performance of the Star Sport Academy in Turkey.

Above all the culture of playing in dusty fields is on the brink of collapsing. Four pitches have been successfully installed with artificial turf countrywide. The rehabilitation project in Kono and the light in Kenema all speak volume, as four other fields are on the waiting.

Today as the senior male team is in readiness for their World Cup qualifier matches, the Female U-20 is up and ready for the WAFU zone A tournament in Senegal.

Thank you for saving Sierra Leone Football from the Red Sea and thank you for bringing it to the promised land.
