Well, its about Thais belief. Myself, never use this service, but i have seen at the City Pillar Shrine in Bangkok. The girl who shows thai traditional dance was so beautiful steps and good sound.

Free shuttle bus service *** 2nd August, 7am - 4pm🙏❤️
For tourists you guys can take a public bus to the candles parade showing area. "Thung Sri Mueang"
Because there is hard to find a parking lot. No free space
Due to the big festival in Ubon

Is anyone interested to experience how to carve wax?
Let's join the villagers that many temples (4-5 temples in Ubon City) is on their process right now. :D
EVENT SCHEDULE ::::
19 - 30th July = The monks and villagers are working , Making all stuff. carve wax ***Volunteer Needed! They will be happy to teach you how to ..... So lets join them. All temples are really welcome , people are kind to support you guys ...meals and drink (Free) ***Full of Good karma and Full your tummy as well :)
30th July. Miss Candle Festival = Many local girls they joined the Beauty Pageant they gonna visit Wat Pah Yai at 1pm. , join how to carve wax as well = Lets prove by yourself How beautiful , cute, sweet. friendly of Local Isaan Girls :)
***1-2nd August Main Program showing. All candles from many temples will be move into Ubon city (almost 50 temples around Ubon) Tourist can take a walk. watching all beautiful parade at the points ( Will describe, drop the location , also the seat where you can watch /LIVE the parade showing via next post)
***2nd Aug. Start 8am. Day show ( you guys have a seat ticket, booked already must be there before) The beautiful candles parade will come along the road, Beautiful Girls who win will sit along. Locals call them Nang Fah or Angel ... So lets see all Angel gonna sit at every parade, carry her colorful umbrella, costume, wear heavy cosmetic as well lol ;) But yes they all are beautiful and lovely ***Prove what a sweet smiling :)
Well, In every year Ubon Provincial has provide a Tour Guide /Reporter in Many languages (English, Chinese, Japanese, German, French etc.) Lets prove how many languages this year ;)
***2nd Night Show ...Start from 6-7pm. The Parade, Traditional Dancing , Sound and Light Showing
4th - 31 Aug. By the campaign "Candle Sightseeing Whole Month" For you guys who want to catch up , close up how beautiful of carved candles. Ubon has provide until the end of month. Flowers might get dried...Wax will be melting as well... But for who miss the Main parade (1-2nd Aug.) You guys still have time to visit and catch up......
My suggests " Don't be hesitate to Make a Reservation before Fully Booked!!! (Accommodation + Car for rent + Minivan VIP with a driver + Restaurant + ***Seat for Watching the Candle Parade Showing (1-2nd Aug.) ***Do it ASAP! :D
