Algerian powerlifter Hocine BETTIR made his mark at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games by securing a well-deserved bronze medal in the powerlifting event. With an extraordinary bench press of 209 kg, BETTIR demonstrated his immense strength and determination, propelling him onto the podium among the world’s best.

BETTIR’s preparation for the Games included an intensive training camp held in Kocaeli, Türkiye, where the Algerian Paralympic Powerlifting Team trained in the lead-up to Paris 2024. This camp played a vital role in refining his technique and conditioning, leading to his success on the Paralympic stage.

Maryam ALZAYOUDI Shines in Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, Narrowly Misses Podium!

In an extraordinary display of strength and determination, Maryam ALZAYOUDI delivered her personal best performance at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, throwing 8.62 meters in the shot put. Despite this outstanding achievement, ALZAYOUDI finished just shy of a medal, securing 4th place—an agonizing 4 centimeters behind the bronze medalist, Tunisia’s star athlete.

The result may have been disappointing for the UAE Paralympian, but her performance was nothing short of exceptional. Throughout the competition, ALZAYOUDI showed grit and resilience, proving she belongs among the elite athletes on the world stage. Her personal best throw of 8.62 meters is a testament to her hard work, dedication, and preparation.

Maryam ALZAYOUDI's preparation for the Paris Games took place in Bolu, Türkiye, where she trained under the guidance of coach Ayman Mohammed Ali. The camp played a pivotal role in honing her skills and ensuring she was in peak condition for the Games.

We are so proud that Algerian Powerlifter Hocine BETTIR won the Bronze medal in the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games in Powerlifting ,

Hocine BETTIR lifted 209 kg Bench Press,

He was training with us in two training camps and before Paris 2024 he prepared with us in Kocaeli.

Congratulations to Hocine, his Coach Benhatta and the Algerian Paralympic Committee for their continusly support to their athletes.

Gold Medal Alert!

Algerian F57 Class Safia Djelal won Gold medal this morning at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games in Shot Put with 11.56m. In the same event Nassima Saifi won bronze medal with 10.47 m throw.

Congratulations to Lynda HAMRI to win Bronze Medal at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.

She competed in Long Jump T12 Class and jumped 5.30 meters to win the Bronze Medal.

She was training with us in Bolu Türkiye for pre camp of Paris 2024.

Last June, we had the pleasure of hosting the England Partially Sighted Futsal National Team in Sakarya for a weekend of intense and friendly games. They played against two Turkish clubs, showcasing incredible skill and sportsmanship. It was an honor to facilitate these matches and witness the passion for the game that transcends borders. Looking forward to more such memorable events!

The Kyrgyzstan Para Archery Team was training with us this year in Antalya where they could relax and perform their training in an exclusive venue for Archery, we wish them good luck in Paris 2024 for their first Paralympic Games experience.

Last April, we had the incredible honor of organizing a friendly amputee football event in the beautiful city of Antalya, Türkiye. Teams from Uzbekistan, Iraq, England, Angola, and Türkiye came together for an unforgettable experience of training camps and friendly games.

This event was a true celebration of determination, skill, and the unbreakable spirit of these athletes. It was amazing to see players from different corners of the world showcasing their talent and camaraderie on the field.

We at Orso Sports Events are proud to have been part of this inspiring journey and look forward to bringing more such events that highlight the strength and unity in sports.
