On the third day of my holiday in Rhodes Island, I joined a sunset catamaran cruise with British and German friends. We visited Kallthea Springs and swam near the stunning rock formations of a beautiful cove. After swimming, we enjoyed a delicious dinner, and the Greek cuisine was absolutely amazing. Many years later, I embarked on an international tour and decided that Greece, our neighboring country, would be the perfect destination. I traveled by ferry from Marmaris (in the Muğla Province of southern Turkey) to the island of Rhodes, a journey that took about an hour. After checking into my hotel, I explored the Rhodes Old Town, discovering its incredible historical sites. Later, I cycled around the old town and along the coast. Our guests from Germany joined us for a sunset yacht tour on the Bosphorus. Afterward, they expressed a desire to swim, so we surprised them by taking them to a perfect spot. It was right across from the famous waterside mansion featured in the popular Turkish series Yalı Çapkını. They swam and had a fantastic time, enjoying the view of the historic mansion on the water.

After the rain stopped, our captain dived in and caught some sea creatures, including a crab 🦀 and a starfish. The family was thrilled and had unforgettable moments interacting with the animals. (No harm was done to the sea creatures; they were released back into the water afterward.)
