Instead of neglecting your fears, distracting yourself from the uncomfortable sensation; feel it, face it, sit with it. Get intimate with your fears, to receive the message underneath the sensation. What is it telling you?

What is the desire on the other side of the fear? Connect to those desires and acknowledge them, write them down.

In this way the sensation of fear becomes lighter, and you can feel into the steps to move into direction of your desires, step by step 🤍

𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑩𝒊𝒓𝒅 𝒐𝒇 𝑯𝒖𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒑𝒉𝒆𝒄𝒚

There is a Cherokee prophecy that speaks about this time.

The prophecy notes that the bird of humanity has a masculine wing and a feminine wing, yet, this bird has been flying for thousands of years with only one wing - the male one.

This has lead to a domination of the masculine - the ”yang” side leading to violant effects. The bird of humanity has basically only been able to fly in circles with one wing, unable to fly in right direction.

The prophecy now denotes, that in the 21st century it’s female wing will fully extend and express itself.

The male/ yang energy can then relax and the bird of humanity will soar up to the level of consciousness that is our actual potential 🦅

The full feminine, in her wholeness & totality, the yin principle — both in women and men, has been judged, exiled, shamed, cast out and diminished for thousands of years.

The feminine is the body. It is our inner - body wisdom. It’s intuition, love, creativity, connection to earth and nature ~ our own cyclical wild nature...

The time has come to re-learn how to trust our inner landscapes, to trust life and to dance in harmony with our inner currents and follow our own flow.

It’s the time to focus on re-building deep authentic nourishing connection to self, to others, and nature.

It’s our time to learn how to lead from this space, from the subtle messages we receive through our body intelligence and heart ~ trusting ourselves, and the feminine way.

It’s our time to remember...

Motherhood has been a big feminine initiation for me 🌺 I’ve really felt these 3 nuggets…

1️⃣ My body’s intuition is my compass.

There’s a million ways to mother and every day I make hundreds of parenting decisions. I navigate this by listening to my body - what feels good? Choosing what feels good over what sounds right or makes logical sense.

2️⃣ My heart can expand.

Being a mom has brought me more love & joy into my life than ever before… and also anxiety, worry, and immense tenderness because now I care so deeply about her. I expand in both directions.

3️⃣ I’m made for interdependence.

The American culture I grew up in celebrates autonomy & independence. But having a baby made me depend more than ever on others, as she fully depends on me. I felt how my receiving gives people a chance to give, and feeds this web of interdependence & connection. We need each other and that’s a beautiful thing.
