Excited to be part of the JMMB PowHerful Women in Business Programme - Cohort 2!

Being selected for this programme is a huge milestone for me as an entrepreneur. It’s especially meaningful because the application and interview process happened during a really challenging time. I was caring for my dad, managing my business, and homeschooling – all while trying to keep everything running smoothly.

The day of my interview, my presentation froze at the first few lines. But I had to trust God to take me through, and I kept going. 30 minutes into the orientation I got a call that my dad just dies. The first session took place just days before my dad’s funeral, and even though it was a tough time, I was determined not to miss this opportunity. It wasn’t about being a "superhero" – it was about showing up for myself and my business, despite everything.

Thank you to for this amazing opportunity. I’m excited to learn, grow, and connect with so many inspiring women in the programme. Here’s to taking our businesses to new heights! 🚀

1. Get it right from the start with your invitations
2. Add a touch of elegance
3. Do something different
4. Pay attention to packaging
5. Get a great decorator and creatives that bring the details for the Wow factor
6. Don't forget the cake details
7. Make the event yours and not Pinterest
8. A great MC is key
9. Carry your theme straight through to the Food & Bar
10. Be sure to have at least 1 person who starts the party
11. Have a super photographer .weddings
