Fun to make and budget-friendly! . . Materials: - 1/2" Pvc pipe and fittings (8 elbows, 2 tees, 2 end caps, 4 clamps) - Pvc glue - 8 screws - 8 hooks - Chain - Stag blank - Bristol board - Clear contact paper - Styrofoam sheet (that they were about to throw away at the hardware) - Uhu glue and my glue gun - Bling wrap (that I already had) - My drill...that I finally christened😁 - Gold spray paint That is what I used but the material options are quite varied. I've seen some made from cardboard and string and others made from wood and very strong wire...one day I'll get to that level, God willing 🙏.

Finally!! 🎉🎉🎉🎊🎊🎊 So although I called it my floating table, the proper (i.e. Physics-y) name is a tensegrity table. You can Google tensegrity if you want ... yes, I had to 😂. . . To answer the unasked question: there's no magic or trick to it; the only thing holding the top and bottom pieces together is chain. How?➡️➡️➡️ Tensegrity 😉. . . This project didn't come out exactly as planned, BUT: 1) I challenged myself to something new, 2) I succeeded, and 3) I enjoyed the process! God willing, sometime next year I'll be doing an improved version. . . Thanks for being part of the journey! Special shout out to my guesser extraordinaire @leeannekkp 😁💖. I lost money 😩😩 and I was not happy. What actually happened was that I was planning to launch a new line of products this week so I had invested time and money into the items. But guess what happened? They ALLLL got damaged in the moving process 😢. . . There isn't any way to fix them... believe me, I've tried...and for a few days all I could think about was my hundreds of dollars that had gone down the drain. But then I decided to change my perspective. I could continue to lament the loss or I could keep pressing on. . .
