Entertainment Business Entrepreneur Cliff Harris, Managing Director and CEO of Tropix Entertainment, has been in the industry for more than 30 years.
For over 20 years, Tropix Entertainment has produced solely or in part, major Carnival events and concerts such as Fire Fete, Army Fete, Caribbean Brass Festival and Reggae Concerts such as Redemption. Over that period, he has led his Company to be one of the most successful and credible promotions company in Trinidad and Tobago. Additionally, his knowledge and skill in the entertainment and music
industry has earned him the reputation of being an astute producer, mentor and promoter of established and new talent. Cliff as he is fondly called was the owner of the former Shandileer and Atlantik bands and devoted much of his resources to nurturing and developing talent for stage and recording. His catalogue of recorded work with his artistes are inclusive of many hits which are legendary. A major achievement in his career as soca band-owner was an annual two-month gig for his band Atlantik who performed twice daily at the Ocean Dome in Japan before thousands of visitors. This accomplishment of taking soca to the Far East is yet to be matched in concept. At Tropix Entertainment, Cliff has produced and promoted many events, both original and customised for corporate clients, during and outside of the Carnival season. Some of these include:
