The Project of Kaoshiong Labor Museum
「 ✦ 𝐄𝐍𝐆𝐋𝐈𝐒𝐇 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 ✦ 」
More and more southeastern workers have come to Taiwan; their lifestyles and culture used to pass on in their own countries with their own languages. Now with the release of short audio-visual clips submitted this time, more Taiwanese are able to better understand the cultural world of Southeastern Asia. By creating short audio-visual clips, Southeastern workers are invited to share the charisma of their own countries and bring in harmony of cultural exchange.
Activity Schedule
Submission Time: June 27th to July 31st.
Submission: Fill out the Google form .
Result Announcement: the official website of Kaohsiung Museum of Labor on August 22nd, Facebook, and Instagram.
Language: Thai, Indonesian, Vietnamese, and Filipino Languages.
Group
Submitting audio-visual clips based on your nationality, one person is limited to create one clip. Meanwhile, the maximum number of audio-visual clips in each language group is 15. In other words, the Google form will be closed as soon as 15 audio-visual clips are successfully submitted.
Format
Length: a clip in less one minute
Topic: One Thing You Want to Share with Taiwanese Most
Content: (a) Your Favorite Food; (b) Leisure and Entertainment on Holidays; (c) Expertise After Work; (d) Something About Your Country; (e) Your Motherland Habits in Taiwan; (f) Others.
Audio-visual clips for submission can be in four languages, including Vietnamese, Indonesian, Thai, and Filipino ones. Fifteen clips are the maximum number for each language group, and three judges in each group will evaluate these clips. Certificates, trophies, and souvenirs will be issued for winners. The winner list will be announced on the official website of Kaohsiung Museum of Labor, FB, and Instagram. Meanwhile, winners will be invited to attend Southeastern KOLs’ presentation by Kaohsiung Museum of Labor. (The exact date will be announced later.)
Requirements
Southeastern workers over 18 years old in Taiwan (ID card is required as a proof.)
Scoring Criteria
Creativity (40%): The audio-visual clip is expected to be creative enough to attract attentions from Taiwanese and Southeastern people in the hope of cultural exchange.
Fluency of Audio-visual Clip (20%): Fluency will be evaluated to see if the effects of short audio-visual clips can be taken to the extreme.
Creator’s Expression Ability (20%): Expression ability will be emphasized and a creator is expected to express what he/she wants to say smoothly.
Comprehensive Impression (20%): Judges will score each clip by their impression.
Prizes
First Place: NTD$10,000 voucher, a certificate, a trophy, and a souvenir
Second Place: NTD$ 5,000 voucher, a certificate, a trophy, and a souvenir
Third Place: NTD$ 3,000 voucher, a certificate, a trophy, and a souvenir
Authorization: Please fill out and upload the letter of authorization as register and allow Kaohsiung Museum of Labor to promote and share issues of Southeastern cultures
Notes
The clip has to be original. Once plagiarism is confirmed, the person should bear legal responsibility and voucher, prizes and other rights will be taken back at the same time.
Letter of authorization is essential and should be provided if background music, materials and components for post-production will be used in clips.
Individual privacy and commercial confidential should be avoided in clips.
Please follow the above-mentioned rules; otherwise submission will be rejected or even all rights will be taken back.
