Go Eat!

Lviv is famous for the number of different cafes and restaurants with different types of cuisine. Last few years Asian and Italian restaurants became a real hype here.
But what is really traditional for this region? Top 5 dishes that you must try while you are here is:
1. Salo |pork fat| usually served on a slice of dark bread with a slice of garlic
2. Borsch | beetroot soup| there is many variations and recipes of this delicious soup, you should try a lot or just fall in love from the first spoon
3. Dumpling | pieces of dough wrapped around a filling| fillings can be very different - we recommend to go for a classy one - potato, cabbage or cherry
4. Galician cheesecake - made of homemade cheese with raisins and dark chocolate on top
5. Craft beer& Nalyvky - almost every pub now proposes a real craft beer brewed in a local brewery and it makes it unique and truly delicious! Another popular thing is nalyvky - alcohol infused herbs or berries or honey.
