I’m learning so many new skills in our second year of flower farming. Soil blocking and seed starting - our next ✅ on the “Y Not” give it a try bucket list. It’s important to use a good quality blocking soil and it seems the water ratio is important in actually making the blocks. If you give it a whirl, when mixing in the water you should be able to squeeze a handful of soil with minimal water leaking through your fingers. Just moist enough to stay formed. I must say, playing in the soil and sowing these tiny seeds gave my soul the lift it was needing. Ready. Set.
