Hi everyone!

With all of my new followers and clients that are interested in my services, I thought it was the perfect time to add a new introduction!

My name is Kayla Malott, I am from the Rockford, IL area and just recently moved NW of Rockford, on the boarder of WI and IL. My husband and I just bought our first home out here with our precious dog, Attica, who if you book me, will hear lots about my sweet + sassy girl. I treat her like my own child!

I have my certificate in wedding + event planning, and had my first few solo weddings this year! I have booked a total of 14 weddings in my first year, and can't wait to book more!

I am also a medical assistant student, to graduate in May. So event planning and wedding coordinating really is my side gig, but I couldn't love it anymore than I do!

I come with a large list of recommended vendors, as well as venues. I have always been intrigued with the planning aspect, as I planned my entire wedding in August 2024, which was SO beautiful.

Exciting news!

My husband and I purchased our first home, which means I can finally set up an office for my business! If you're local to me, I will now be offering in-person consults 🙂 I will still offer the zoom call consults as well as public meet-ups!

Also - thank you to all who have recently started following me 🤍 and thank you to every single person who has referred me to someone else! This little dream of mine is really taking off 🥰

Exciting news 🎉

I am collaborating with ML Photography and Eldredge Creations!
This means I will be expanding my "full service wedding" package which will include coordination + planning, a photographer, and custom florals (bouquets, boutonnières, and corsages)!

Another beautiful wedding done by me! This bride & groom chose a very elegant & rustic theme (my all time favorite) and had stunning decor ready for their wonderful day. I just wanted to come on here and say thank you to all clients + potential clients for being patient with me the last few weeks. My wedding was an absolute dream and now that it is over, I am so excited to get started on all of these upcoming weddings! I am grateful for the opportunities I have been given and can't wait to watch this dream come true over the next few years!

I have availability for the remaining 2024 wedding/event season. My day did not flow without the help of coordinators. While being a coordinator myself, I will say I tried to do it on my own and couldn't. I loved every bit of wedding planning, but the days leading up to the wedding, it was a nightmare. I HIGHLY recommend using a coordinator, you will not regret it!

Happy happy Monday!

I hope everyone had a great weekend, and great first day back to work to start the week. I just wanted to share some fun things that have happened to me/my business since last weekend.

• FRIDAY • I booked my FIRST wedding as a wedding - coordinator! 🥹

• SATURDAY • My 21st birthday filled with love and happiness!

• SUNDAY • Celebrated with family again for my birthday, and then came home and planned for my wedding 😅

• MONDAY • I booked another wedding, this time for 2025! I also have a potential client interested as well.

With that being said, I take back my last post about taking time off, so seriously - book with me! I am looking forward to hearing from you 💕

Happy July to all ✨

This summer will be very hectic for me as I am getting married next month and HOPEFULLY (🤞🏻) we will be buying our first home by the beginning of 2025!

With that being said, I will not be planning any events until January 2025 to ensure I can be fully present with my own wedding and the buying process of a home.

My page will remain active as well as booking services. I encourage anyone getting married, having a baby, wanting to throw a baby shower or bridal shower, and graduation parties (+ so many other events not listed) to book me as your event planner. For now, have a safe & fun 2024 and I will catch you all next year!

I N T R O D U C T I O N ✨

Hello all! My name is Kayla Westcott, soon-to-be Kayla Malott in August (hence KM Events 😋). A little about me:


✨ I am from Rockford, Illinois, but moved to Wisconsin in 2021 after graduating high school. I live outside of Janesville, in a small, quiet town. 🚘

✨ I have been interested in event planning since high school, but recently got more interested while planning my own wedding. 💒

✨I have been with my fiancé for almost 6 years! He has supported every dream of mine, and even pushed me to become an event planner ♥️

✨ I have an adorable 2 year old Pitbull mix named Attica, who is a bit sassy 😅🐶

✨ I hope that event planning & wedding coordinating will allow me to travel all over the US, and possibly even outside of the US! 🏝️

✨ I am in my last course of college before graduating with a certificate in ABC wedding planning, and then plan to get my certification for event planning. 📜

✨ I am also in NURSING SCHOOL to become a Labor & Delivery Nurse 💛👩🏻‍⚕️
