Feeling compelled to write this.
As a skilled and seasoned planner in the wedding and event industry, I can say from experience, it's important to do the inner work-pay attention and be aware. Every single client is different, unique and has different taste and requirements. Helping with the vendor selection should be an intuitive process based off of the couples personalities and preferences. There are so many amazing vendors right here in the Capital District. Selecting vendors should be based off of first and foremost quality service but after that-alignment with your couple. This is a great opportunity to be able to elevate your couple's experience. It's not about favorites-it's about who is best for each job. Who fits into each puzzle the best. This is how we rise as a vendor community. Oh and also give love and support to your local vendors. Give encouragement, invites, etc. Relationships are symbiotic and they take work- they can't be one sided! That's why I say pay attention-do the work.
A rising tide lifts ALL ships!

One of the many rituals performed at a Jewish Orthodox wedding is called the Schtick. This is where various guests perform, dance, and just be silly with the intent to create even more happiness to the newly married couple.
