Marian Duarte, born in Ibiza in 1977, is a multifaceted professional with a diverse background in the fitness industry. After spending a considerable amount of time working as a Pilates and Latin dance instructor, she took her passion to the next level by establishing her own school in San Antonio, Ibiza. Marian subsequently became an integral part of the Spanish Pilates Federation, serving as an official trainer and examiner for the federation in the Balearic Islands.
Her expertise extends to various facets of Pilates, and she has specialized as a Personal Pilates Trainer at the Ambition London clinic. Marian is particularly skilled in the PilatesMat method, Pilates StudioFit-ball, Pilates for pregnant women, personal training, Pilates for osteoporosis, Kinoepilates, stretching, maintenance gymnastics, Yogilates, Pilates for children, and Ashtanga Yoga instruction.
As a testament to her commitment to continuous learning, Marian attended the 2012 Pilates Masters Seminar, where she had the privilege of learning from renowned figures in the field, including Lo**ta San Miguel, a direct disciple of Joseph H. Pilates, certified Pilates master Pat Guyton, Romana's second-generation disciple Elena Dominguez-Bartley from the United States, and Zoe Queally, a UK-based physiotherapist and Pilates instructor.
Notably, Marian is not only dedicated to Pilates but also a versatile artist and organizer. She proudly created "Ibizafulldance" and took charge of organizing and performing in events like "Mojitofusionight" in 2013 and "Tanit embruja a chango" in 2010. Additionally, she played a pivotal role in the organization and performances during the "Festas de la Terra" in Ibiza in 2009 and 2010.
