THIS SUNDAY IS A BIG GAY MARKET! HELLO! WHAT?! 🌈 Y’all we were flipping through some photos by our photographer, Shei, from last July and I’m not tearing up YOU ARE!

This year, we have 150 vendors, double the size of a community area, a new map, double the food options, day dancing w/ tunes by DJ Lovely Candela, and yes OWLS 🦉🥹 All to support Camp Unirondack’s Q***r Youth Advocacy Retreat 🫂

We are still looking for some volunteers the day of! Please email Cyren at [email protected] or DM us here if interested in taking a few shifts whether during set up, information or kids booth, or break down. Most shifts are one hour or if you do a full day - you get several breaks to enjoy the day! 🧡

Alright so last night was BEEEEEAUTIFUL! 🥹 After nearing 6 months of planning, seeing this collaboration come to LIFE just was beyond words 🫂

Troy Pride Night Out x A Big Gay Market brought thousands of q***r and gender expansive community together in JOY! We are the resistance when we gather and we remain visible!

Over $400 was raised for ! 65+ q***r and gender expansive creatives! Drag and burlesque performances organized by .maryxx ! After Parties, a Block Party, and Brunch Crawl organized by of ***rinclusivitysocial! That’s all COMMUNITY doing the work y’all.

Thank you for the opportunity! Thank you to our amazing volunteers and safety team holding it DOWN! Also, thank you for everyone holding me too & letting me drive around for once to witness you all. 🥹 what a privilege!

We have one more event this Pride Month - our A Big Gay Community Craft Day at .collective.troy on Sunday, June 29th from 12PM - 4PM 🌈see you there gay people!!!

WE HAD OUR FIRST POP UP IN THE 845! 🌈 What a sweet day! We gathered in q***r & gender expansive JOY at Unicorn Bar in Kingston yesterday and wow 🥹

First, deep thank you to Francesca and the team at Unicorn Bar for warmest welcome in the coolest bar maybe ever?! 🫂

All day we forged new connections with the Kingston community, developed new friendships, and watched new and returning vendors swap their wares!

We cannot wait to continue building our presence in the 845 🌈 Also shout out to the folks that traveled from New Paltz to Albany just to visit us! You’re AMAZING!

We had the BEST TIME at the first ever Bleecker’s Closet 💚 hosted by Albany Public Library! 🌈🫂

It was SO affirming, sweet, and filled with q***r & gender expansive JOY with the best 80’s summer tunes playlist 🌞

Vendor Meet Ups are BACK! 🫂 Responding to input from our vendor community, we wanted to expand our geographic reach to ensure vendors from around the region had a chance to meet up in new spaces! We are so thrilled to be collaborating with 5 small businesses across the 518 & introducing our first annual A BIG GAY LAKE DAY in August!🌈

We will be announcing the date and time of each vendor meet up a month in advance so stay tuned for the other dates, locations, and times 👀

We're chasing the Sun, and rumor has it that she'll be out at 1pm instead of noon ➡️ So that's when we'll start!
