Learn how to pack your suit for travel if you don't have a garment bag. Is it better to have a garment bag? Yes. Will this prevent wrinkles? Probably not. Should you steam your suit before you wear it anyway? Absolutely. No packing method is foolproof, but this has been the best way for me to save space and protect my higher end custom suit fabrics. Other tips include: DO NOT pack your suits with your shoes. Whether they dress shoes, sneakers, or heels, all of them can damage or dirty your suit. If you absolutely must, make sure your shoes are in dust bags. Once you get where you’re going, immediately unpack your suit and put it on a suit hanger. This will prevent creases from setting in and reduce your need to steam your suit if you’re not a morning person (I am not a morning person) ABSOLUTELY DO NOT iron your suit using the hotel iron. They literally never get cleaned and I’ve ruined too many garments by ignoring my own rule and squirting hot rust water onto my suits and shirts. What are some of your travel tips?
