Mel's Creations We provide an unique assortment of items that make an event/wedding stand out. All items are available to rent and or personalize to each individual taste.

When preparing for my daughter's wedding, I saw a need for a unique type of rental. I searched, "mason jars for rent, burlap tablecloths, barrels for rent" and the list goes on. I found a few vintage rentals but it wasn't quite what I was looking for. Yes I could buy 200 mason jars, yards of burlap and make all the cute signs...but what was I going to do with it afterwards? g the best advertisement, a few short months after hearing about Lauren's wedding, three future brides made contact, wanting to know how to obtain those same things. Without further ado, "MeL" was created. We are a mixture of burlap and lace, wrought iron and tin, and twigs and stumps!! We can be vintage or rustic or more into a "feel" that you want to create. Now days, especially in Texas, more brides want that less formal, down home, comfortable feeling for their special day. Rustic venues are popping up all over the area and brides are donning "boots" instead of satin slippers. Most of the items found at MeL won't be found at other event rentals. In fact, many of our items are considered "props" in a theatrical sense. They give the venue that air of warmth and welcome. We also specialize in hand-crafted and "one of a kind" custom creations. With Pinterest and Etsy being the first place a bride looks for ideas, I'm sure most of you have found ideas that want to incorporate into your special day with maybe just "a few" changes. If so, you have found the right place. MeL, a Do It Yourself person, loves the challenge of something new. So, bring your ideas and let's talk. Many times a bride has a basic idea of what she wants but just needs a little help pulling it all together...or maybe you are just running out of time and need someone to lend a hand.
