I've been overseas pretty much my entire adult life. I have only once voted at a physical poling place in the 'States. Like every soldier, airman, marine, sailor, and contractor, I have pretty much always voted by mail.

Every single military person overseas votes by mail.

I have always been suspicious that my vote wasn't being counted when they announced the winner of the election at one AM on November 3. Surely, given the APO system, and the things they have to overcome, at least SOME of the absentee ballots must not have come in by that time. Given the poor turn out that US citizens have for voting, there is absolutely no way that the election commission(s) have any idea of the number of votes that might be coming in.

Now, given all the irrational hate of mail in ballots, I wonder if my vote has ever been counted.
