Her kind words needed to be shared.

In a world where we're measured by our political and vaccine status, it makes some days very difficult to be social. I've found staying home is the easiest.
Today made my heart happy. Warrior Run Football was invited to share space with the Warrior Run Fire Dept. Adults that work so hard to volunteer to save our lives have to work even harder to raise money to have the necessary equipment to do their unpaid job. I watched members of the fire dept and players from the football team come together to set up a MASSIVE event. Tables, chairs, food, auction items and baked goods. Alot of work in a small amount of time. I've always had so much respect for our fire dept. I couldn't do what they do. And now they take the time to share with a group of boys to ensure they have the things needed to play ball. There isn't even enough words.
So folks I have some favors to ask.
1st, thank a fire fighter. They risk everything to make sure we are safe. And they volunteer. Donate when you can. Be kind.
2nd, play BINGO! Doors open at 11:00 and bingo starts at 1:00. You can buy your ticket at the door. Plus you can order up some lunch from some awesome volunteers. Support the folks that have your back.
3rd, come out to support the wonderful boys of fall!! Warrior Run football boosters is having the bestest ever Chinese Auction. Starts at 9am and ends at 4. Winners will be drawn immediately after. Our one and only Lieutenant Chris Snyder will do the honor of pulling those tickets!
On behalf of both organizations, I thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. I adore both the fire dept and the football team. I hope everyone can take a small part out of their day to support my friends.
And don't forget - we have a bake sale too!!!! Come get some sweet treats!
