The Utah Magic Fest was so much fun this year! We didn't as many pics or video, because we had a official videographers, so we'll post more pics and video as we get that back from them. THANK YOU to all of you that came and supported LIVE Magic! Can't wait for next year's event!

Welcome Kerry Summers to this year's Utah Magic Fest!

Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, Kerry began performing as a magician and musician at an early age. After graduating from high school, and while serving a mission for his church in Australia, he added ventriloquism to his magical and musical performing skills. After college, he married, and with his wife, Carla, joined a USO tour, performing his variety act all over the world.

Featuring a dummy who did celebrity impressions that included Elvis, an agent remarked on how much Kerry's voice sounded like Elvis' and suggested he do an Elvis act. Kerry shaved his beard and dyed his hair black; thus began his Tribute to the King that has delighted audiences around the world for over 30 years. He has performed in over 36 countries and for every venue imaginable.

Kerry makes his home in Orem, Utah and travels thousands of miles each year, performing his variety act and/or Tribute to the King. He is often seen on cruise ships traveling to Alaska, Hawaii, China, Mexico, South America, and the Caribbean.

Let's welcome Frank Bright - Magician, Mentalist, & Really Neat Guy to the Utah Magic Fest this year!

Frank Bright is a magician, mentalist, and according to his kids.. a really neat guy. Frank has been practicing and perfecting his magic since he was a kid and has performed in a wide variety of venues, that include restaurants, colleges, corporations, festivals, parties, libraries, schools, and more. He even produced, directed, and performed in his own stage show, "Games of the Mind".

When he's not on the road performing, he's at home in southern Utah where he owns and operates Utah's only brick and mortar magic store (Frank likes to say "largest" instead of "only"). The Sunflower Magic Shop and Theater located in Parowan Utah (just north of Cedar City) is home to not only a magic shop but also a 30 seat parlor theater and magic lounge. If you're looking for magic in southern Utah, his shop is the place to find it.

Let's welcome One Magic Mister to the Utah Magic Fest!

Eric was raised in Layton Utah, in Camelot Subdivision, on Merlin Way. No wonder that later in life he became a Magician!

He runs MagicMan Enterprises as an Entertainment business, building a career as a Magician, Illusionist, and Comedy Stage Hypnotist.

He has been honing his skills in Hypnosis for over a decade and has put audiences to sleep all over the state. (with hypnosis, of course, not boredom!)

He is a past President of the local IBM (International Brotherhood of Magicians) Ring 193 in Salt Lake City.

He was awarded Magician of the Year in 2011 by his peers in a Utah Magic competition; He also won a People’s Choice award that same year at a Magic Competition up in Logan. Most recently took 2nd place at the SLC Magic Jam in January 2018.

In his early magic days, Maniac Manor awarded him “Best Effect” for his Ghost Room illusion at the local haunted house in Ogden, UT.

Eric is the Managing Director of Nightmare Acres, one of Utah’s scariest Haunted Attractions located in Syracuse UT at Black Island Farms, the home of Utah’s Largest Corn Maze.

Scott Chamberlain is an award winning magician and former President of the Orem Chapter of the Society of American Magicians.

He lives in Eagle Mountain, Utah and loves performing for ALL ages. His overall style has a very lighthearted feel and works for both younger and older audiences.

Magic has been in his family for a few generations. His Grandfather, Ralph Adams, was a very well-known magician who performed in Vegas and on TV back in his day and inspires Scott to do what he does.

Scott also runs the Utah School of Magic, an afterschool and summer camp program for kids that uses the fun of magic to build character, confidence, & communication skills for life. In 2021, the Utah School of Magic was awarded the Discover Magic Golden Wand of Excellence Award for its unprecedented work through the Pandemic and again was awarded the Discover Magic Golden Key of Excellence Award by the world famous magician, Michael Ammar in 2023 at a special event for magicians in Orlando, Florida.

Paul Draper is a Comedy Presenter, Mind-Reader, and Speaker who has appeared on the History Channel, A&E, HBO, Hallmark, the Travel Channel, HGTV, and shows like Hell’s Kitchen, Pawn Stars, Ghost Adventures, Mindfreak, and House Hunters.

Draper has appeared with David Copperfield, Lance Burton, and Teller of Penn & Teller as an expert for the History Channel. He has performed for HBO Comedy Fest at Caesar’s Palace and hosted companion documentaries for Steven Spielberg’s Poltergeist.

In Las Vegas, he has headlined for many casinos, including the Orleans Casino and Planet Hollywood V Theater, in addition to his seven years as house magician for the Venetian Hotel & Casino.

The International Magicians Society awarded Draper a Merlin Award for World’s Best Corporate Performer. Recently, Draper has performed at Yale, USC, Apple, YPO, the Magic Castle in Hollywood, Off-Broadway, and the Magic Circle in London.

In addition to his corporate shows and lectures, Paul Draper is frequently called upon as an expert in fields ranging from magical history to human consciousness. As an anthropologist and member of the Society for the Anthropology of Consciousness, Paul Draper studies Native American ghost dancers, South American cannibals, and spiritualists.

As an expert in communication and entertainment, Draper has interviewed major film and television celebrities live onstage before audiences of thousands at Fan X Salt Lake Comic Convention during SLCC’s last six record-breaking annual events.
