"John came to the house for a fiftieth birthday celebration with Stephanie, his assistant. They prepared an amazing assortment of food from a raw bar to charcuterie and appetizers which included lamb lollipops and filet. Excellent presentation!!!" - Jennifer S. (via Google)

"We had to do a Burial at sea and we were looking all over for a caterer. Needless to say, doing a burial at sea and catering was a little difficult for most to accommodate. We met up the day after he called me. We were planning on 20 and prepared food for 30 and we had 17 show up, so we were able to feed the captain and his crew, which was nice. John did a nice simple set up at the bow of the boat. It was a 7 AM departure and he was set up ready to cook and made the most wonderful omelet with mushrooms. I hate mushrooms but I ate these like I have not eaten in a week. Whatever this guy does to mushrooms needs to be packaged and sold as a snack. The eggs were phenomenal and he had a nice simple bread and bagel tray and then had an amazing cheese and crackers spread for snacks. For lunch, he prepared some great sandwiches and other veggie style dishes. Even the captain of the boat commented on how good the food was. So for someone who's never done this before on a burial boat, he showed up and fed 21 people on a rocking boat. His food was a very nice addition to the day. My mom would've been proud of the selection we made in hiring him. I will be getting him for any other events I host or asked about in the future." - David P. (Yelp)

He was friendly and approachable throughout the planning process, and when it came to the big day, he and his staff showed up hours early to make sure everything was set up how we had requested. "John Martin and his team made my recent retirement party one to remember! He worked with us ahead of time to develop the menu, had several really helpful ideas, and offered price ranges that worked with our budget. Once he arrived and got to work, it was all in his hands.. The team took over the kitchen, found their way around, and everything came together. The food variety and presentation was amazing. Steph and Steph served passed appetizers and made their way throughout the guests while being friendly and engaging. When the event was over, the kitchen was cleaner than when they started!! All my guests commented on the delicious food, the beautiful presentation, the friendliness of the team- all of which contributed to a wonderful event.
