My song list ranges from Frank Sinatra era music, to todays top ten. My shows include a 50s sock hop, a tribute to the artist of the 60's and 70's, Disco night, tribute to the 80's, artist specific shows featuring the music of Elton John, Bruce Springsteen, and the great American songwriter series, featuring Bob Dylan, Seger, John Fogerty, Mellencamp, and Tom Petty. I have a classic country show r

What I love more than anything, is getting together with a customer, and finding out the music they love the most, and playing it for them. Very pleasant evening tonight in Tonawanda. We're playing a dance at the Ukraine Center on Military in Buffalo tomorrow night, then 2 Elton shows on Thursday, including our final show on Main in Williamsville this Summer at Rustic Buffalo. We took Friday and Saturday off to have a little us time. We're traveling to Ohio to visit the Football and Rock and Roll Halls of Fame, and coming home Saturday night. We have to play Sunday and Monday, but it will be nice to have a couple days to just have fun. Diana Hastings

hat a great night tonight. We ended up with 111 people, and we had 2 tables of regulars gone on vacation. I was blown away. Wonderful night celebrate 3 years at Potts. Heading out in a few to play a private event out in Hamburg. We watched the new Twisters movie this afternoon. Pretty awesome. Best watched if you have surround sound. turn the TV up loud. lol. So stoked after tonight's Elton show. 100 people, sold out, dinner theater. This was exactly what I pictured this show to be. It's hard to do this in a bar, because people are drinking, and not always listening to the stories, or the program. Today, everyone was glued to every word, sang every song, and it was an amazing thing to be involved with. Added bonus, Elton's music is the soundtrack to my life. I was in Heaven. We need to find more venues like this. This was an amazing day, and more of what we want to move forward with in the future. This, our dances, and private events, and working with our Rustic Buffalo family. What an incredible day. Diana Hastings

Played a nice show in Akron last night. This evening, we're bringing our Elton John Tribute to the Cheektowaga Senior Center. Lots of tickets sold, so we're excited. Tomorrow, we're back on Main St. in Williamsville at Rustic Buffalo from 6 to 9. No theme this week, just playing our regular assortment of tunes. Friday is our Potts Dance from 5 to 9. Tonight's show out at Terry Hills turned into an almost 4 hour gig instead of 3. Great folks out there. 2 private parties to play tomorrow, and 1 more on Sunday, then a day off on Monday. Train keeps rolling. Diana Hastings

I tell, most days I don't feel my age. Tonight, however, I feel all of 60 after doing a 3 hour show in full Elton costume in that 90 degree heat, taking no breaks. I'm soaked from top to bottom, but it was a fun show. I'm zonked though. Diana Hastings

Our Story

I am one half of the duo Hastings and Sampson. Our song list ranges from 50’s, 60’s ,70’s 80’s 90’s up to todays latest hits. We perform specialty shows such as sock hops, disco nights, and 80’s bash to Christmas celebrations. Our regular show is basically classic rock and top 40. My partner Diana, sings everything from Etta James to Adele, to Lady Gaga. I sing everything from Frank Sinatra, to Elton John, to Bruce Springsteen, to Bruno Mars. We play a wide mix of music. I play guitar, drums, and keyboards, we perform to backing tracks to get full effect of a full band. We play at a variety of local establishments, weddings, and private parties.
