My song list ranges from Frank Sinatra era music, to todays top ten. My shows include a 50s sock hop, a tribute to the artist of the 60's and 70's, Disco night, tribute to the 80's, artist specific shows featuring the music of Elton John, Bruce Springsteen, and the great American songwriter series, featuring Bob Dylan, Seger, John Fogerty, Mellencamp, and Tom Petty. I have a classic country show r

What I love more than anything, is getting together with a customer, and finding out the music they love the most, and playing it for them. GAMEDAY AND VACA!!!!! Thanks to some great friends and family who came out to the Dome last night and made it a wonderful way to end a long week. Busy week continues tonight at 20th Century Clubs special event. Tomorrow is our Potts dance, and then Saturday, we play an unplugged show at The Gulf Dome in Tonawanda. looking forward to that, and playing a bunch of my favorite songs. Very busy week. We have 9 shows in 6 days, plus filming our Bills review about yesterdays game tonight. Next week we head off to NYC to see the new Avett Brothers Broadway musical, and spend a little time walking around the Big Apple, Central Park. Can't wait. Plus we scored hotel and tickets to the Bills Colts game in Indy, so we're gonna join the Bills in the road for a game. Very excited. Diana Hastings

Much needed week off this week, to clear my head, and rest my bones. Diana's boss is on vacation, and she has to cover for him, and work more hours this week, so we didn't book anything. Wish she could be off as well, so we could do something nice together. That said, we're looking forward to going on our yearly trip to NYC in a couple weeks, to go see a new Broadway production of a show based on the music of the Avett Brothers. Opening night was sold out, but we got good tickets to night number 2. Maybe they'll be there. Also looking forward to spending some time in Central Park. Can't wait. Diana Hastings

Great time out in Warsaw last night. Wasn't sure what to expect, but they had a great crowd, and we even saw my friend from my school days Jackie Akins Fontana and her family, plus several of our friends from Batavia. Very fun evening of music. Love meeting new friends. Diana Hastings

Done playing for the seniors this week. It's been nice having our nights off. Tomorrow we're playing a dinner dance at the 20th Century Club in Buffalo, then Sunday, we're playing a private pregame show before the Bills kick off. Busy weekend coming up. Go Bills. Only the Bills can have this effect on me. I should be walking on cloud nine right now, instead I feel like crap. We just finished a record week for our business. Just this past weekend alone, we played for 1000's of people over the course of 2 days out in East Aurora. The President of their Chamber of Commerce told us he wants to hire us for all their events. We were asked to play a wedding. We gave away a ton of business cards with people wanting to hire us for private events. East Aurora was wonderful to us. To top it off, we finished the weekend with a nonstop 5 hour marathon performance. Add on to that, we had another great night at Potts for our dance. We played a nice show out in Kenmore. We had a great time playing for our friends in Niagara Falls, and Hamburg. It was a great, great week. Yet I'm sitting here today feeling miserable. I don't want to watch any tv, and I don't want to read the Bills Mafia page here on facebook. Filming my review of week 4 is gonna be rough for sure. That said, I'm going to my chiropractor in a while to hopefully help out my back pain, and then I'm concentrating on our music. It's going to be a nice week. All of our shows are in the morning or afternoons up until Saturday Night, when we play for 20th Century Club in Buffalo. Hopefully, we can get a couple date nights in together. As for my Bills, it was a bad game, but it was one week. First time in 40 something games we lost by more than 6. It was bound to happen. My frustration will be erased with a victory next week. Great dance at Potts last night. Today, we head out first to East Aurora, and play from 12 to 3 at the Rustic Buffalo, then head out to Franklinville to play a private event at a campground. Tomorrow, we're back in East Aurora at the Rustic from 12 to 5. After that, we have to rush home for the Bills game and Sunday Night Football. Busy times my friends. Diana Hastings

We played a private event this evening at a senior apartment. There was a woman there that looked like my sister. Right in the middle of the show, I couldn't get it out of my head, and all I was thinking about was how much I miss my sister, my mom and my dad, and so many in my family who have passed on. I would give everything to just be able to see them again, and for us to all be together like back in the day. Hold on tightly to those you love most, and never let them doubt how much you love them. Our Story

I am one half of the duo Hastings and Sampson. Our song list ranges from 50’s, 60’s ,70’s 80’s 90’s up to todays latest hits. We perform specialty shows such as sock hops, disco nights, and 80’s bash to Christmas celebrations. Our regular show is basically classic rock and top 40. My partner Diana, sings everything from Etta James to Adele, to Lady Gaga. I sing everything from Frank Sinatra, to Elton John, to Bruce Springsteen, to Bruno Mars. We play a wide mix of music. I play guitar, drums, and keyboards, we perform to backing tracks to get full effect of a full band. We play at a variety of local establishments, weddings, and private parties.
