Be sure to come to a free Christmas music concert tomorrow, Dec. 1st at 5 pm at the First United Methodist Church in Anniston featuring the US Army Materiel Command Band. This terrific orchestra from Huntsville plays all over the world! And tomorrow, we'll be fortunate indeed to have them in town. Please pass the word around and be there tomorrow at 5!

Hope to see you tomorrow, Saturday the 3rd of August at the Monteith Amphitheater for the US Army Materiel Command Band. FREE concert starts at 6:00 and the dixieland music will be a fun way to relax after a big day! Bring folding chairs, blankets, drinks, food and shade hats to wear as the sun sets.

The US Army Materiel Command Band will perform a free concert this Saturday June 29th at the Monteith Amphitheater at McClellan. The doors open at 4pm with the music beginning at 6pm. The event is co-sponsored by AUSA and the Longleaf Arts Council as part of a series of events this summer in our community celebrating Anniston's 130th Birthday.

The US Army Materiel Command Band is comprised of 35 master musicians… and they stay in high demand throughout the year… so we are exceedingly fortunate to have them in our community the weekend before the 4th of July. Most of the program will include patriotic musical favorites like the "Stars and Stripes", "America the Beautiful", "The Army Goes Rolling Along", "Ballad of the Green Berets" and many more. Bring your lawn chairs or blankets, coolers, family and friends (but no pets, please). Again, it is a free concert in celebration of Anniston's 130th Birthday, 6PM Saturday June 29th at the Monteith Amphitheater at McClellan.
