Calling all the cool kids…come sit with us! 💖

If you were inspired by the kids’ wedding activity idea that I shared on Monday, here are a few more details for ya!

This “Cool Kids” table sign and the black + white “Kids’ Table” banner are both included in the free printable set that I designed. The paper chain that’s hanging by the banner adds a festive touch and can easily be created in wedding colors to match the decor.

Oriental Trading Company has block tower games that are great for keeping the kiddos busy and entertained, so we set out a few of those for the kids to play with. To give the games a little wedding glow-up, I drew hearts on the pieces with a white paint marker. 🤍

We also set up a little goodie station full of things the kids could play with during the reception, then take home with them after. Plain white bags topped with our printable labels help the kids keep track of which goodie bag belongs to which kid.

Welcome to wedding season, y’all! We’ve already attended one wedding over the past few weeks and have another one coming up soon. So much fun! 💖

Do you know someone getting married soon?
If you or someone you know is planning a wedding right now and you’re wondering how to keep kiddos busy and entertained during the reception, I have an idea for you.

Designate a table at the reception that’s for kiddos only. Cover it with white paper, then draw a rectangle on the paper at each seat. Encourage the kiddos draw a pic for the bride and groom inside the rectangle, then the newlyweds can cut the pics out and add them to a scrapbook to look back on years from now.

Add a free, printable Personalized Activity Book and some crayons to each place setting, as well, to keep the kids busy just a little while longer after they’ve drawn their picture.

Oh, and in case you didn’t know, sucking on lollipops makes you color sooooo much better, so be sure to add a few lollipop flower bouquets to your kids table so they can create some crazy cool pictures! 💖

Designed after the paper chain advents that we made when we were kids, but better! 💖

This version contains 25 patterned activity links, each made of elements that I hand drew myself, so you won’t find them anywhere else!

The paper chain is completely customizable to fit your calendar and lifestyle, so you can build your chain to do an activity every day, OR since December is so busy, you can choose and plan the activities only for days that work for your schedule, then fill in the activity-free days with simple pattern links that are also included in the set.
