Okay...It seems my first pass at promoting this show may have wound up in the "cloud" somewhere, probably having cocktails with Russian disinformation and "who really wrote the Beatles songs" posts. In any event, on Friday, September 6, I'm delighted to appear for the first time in concert at Lawson Drinkard's House Concert in Niwot, Colorado. This will be an intimate show for only 50 attendees. All the info's below in a note from Lawson. Please check in with him to save your seat!
Dear Music Friends:
Here are the details! When you respond to this e-mail ([email protected]) I’ll put you on our list. However, to confirm your seat(s) please send a check to me for $25 per person made out to Jon Chandler (send to Lawson Drinkard, 6666 Apache Ct., Niwot, CO 80503), or send the money to me by Venmo (-Drinkard). Your seat is confirmed when I receive your check or Venmo payment. I will confirm when I receive it. Except for some extraordinary emergency, payments will be non-refundable. One hundred percent of the proceeds from our house concerts go directly to the artists.
Our home will accommodate around 50 people (sitting close together) for concerts. It will be first come, first served. We’ll have to close registration when the first 50 folks are confirmed.
Here are the rest of the details:
Date - Friday, September 6, 2024
Time - 7pm - Our front door will be open and you are welcome anytime from 6:30 pm on.
Location - 6666 Apache Court, Niwot
Chairs - We have around 25 chairs so if you have a folding chair please bring it (or risk sitting on the floor!).
Snacks and Drinks - You are welcome to bring snacks to share but please don’t feel obligated. Suzanne and I will have some water, tea, glasses, and an ice chest. Please bring along whatever else you’d like to drink before and after the concert, and between sets. We ask that only water be taken to seats that are on the carpet.
Masks - You are welcome to wear masks if that is your preference but they are not required. If the weather is not too hot we’ll open the windows, but if it is we’ll have the AC running.
Parking Parking is on the street. Please make sure not to block the neighbor’s driveways and don’t park in our driveway. We have a few folks coming who need to park close to the house and we save those spaces for them
We hope you’ll be able to join us and look forward to seeing you on September 6th.
