Going to your first fitting? It's super important to take along shoes and undergarments. You'd be surprised at the difference from one bra or shaper to another. It can change the entire fit of the dress. Same goes with no undergarments.
I explain this in my introductory message to clients.
Yesterday, a client arrived and misunderstood the direction. She assured me that she was wearing clean underwear and thought it was odd that I made the request. 🤣

A bride from this past week. For those who are interested, this is what had to be done:
1, Full take in - reduce by 2 sizes the entire length from top of the bodice to mid-thigh.
2. Take up shoulders by 2"
3. Hem all layers, including petticoat
4. Double bra cups
5. Remove existing sash
6. Bustle

She actually squealed with delight and threw her arms around me when she tried it on. We had fun. :)
