"We were able to cultivate a vegetarian menu consisting of so many of our favorite foods plus a number of signature dishes of the venue, such as a butternut squash galette that was a crowd favorite. Sustainability is also incredibly important to us as a couple, and Gloria and Emma are committed to sourcing only local, seasonal ingredients for the food and florals and minimizing waste, which meant so much to us. In terms of decor and furnishings, the venue has so much available for couples to use, such as tables, chairs, ceremony benches, several wedding arches to choose from, displays for food or guest favors, tableware, candles, string lights, and more."

"We felt cared for throughout the process, not like we were just a number being cycled through a rinse and repeat day (which is what we felt when visiting many venues in the region!). On the day of the wedding, Gloria was loving and supportive and knew just what to do to put us both at ease. Since our wedding, Gloria has become a family friend and we try to say hello whenever we’re in the area. The day of our wedding was remarkable. Every single thing went off without a hitch and we did not have to worry at all. My husband and I were able to enjoy the day and be present with each other and with our guests. Our wedding party, many of whom had been in other weddings, were astounded by how relaxed the entire day felt. Thanks to the Gloriosa team we were able to all enjoy ourselves in a peaceful environment."

"I cannot speak highly enough about our experience hosting our wedding at The Curtis House by Gloriosa & Co. My husband and I got married a couple of weeks ago (September 2024) and our wedding was truly one the happiest, best days of our lives thanks to the love and personalization that Gloria and Emma put into planning and executing our day. We were drawn to so many things about the venue, including the charming setting of Ashfield, the rustic but modernized aesthetic of the barn, the beautiful gardens and greenhouse, and the house being an available space to get ready. We were also drawn to the convenience and uniqueness of being able to provide our floral arrangements from Gloria’s greenhouse and gardens on-site, and having all of the food and beverages taken care of through the venue’s catering and bar team."

"The venue is absolutely stunning, and Gloria is a fantastic host. We stayed the weekend (Fri-Sun), and Gloria made sure that we were taken care of every moment. She even whisked us away for a private moment after our ceremony and brought us champagne and snacks. ...My wife teared up as she hugged Gloria good-bye on our last day! We did not want to say good-bye to this magical place. If you are looking for a beautiful venue that will give you the barn wedding of your dreams, know that you will be in fantastic hands at Gloriosa & Co."

"Every inch of this property is thoughtfully designed and delightful, around every corner there is another sweet detail. We had an 80 person wedding the barn was just the right size to allow for a family style meal, dancing and even a lounge area indoors. Cocktail hour was in the gardens and on the stone patio, and our ceremony took place in front of the dahlia field overlook the town steeple. All our gusts were blown away with how lovely everything was. Gloria, Emma and the rest of their team at the Curtis House made our day so special. Thank you so much!"

"We looked at a few venues in Western Massachusetts and none capture the beauty of this region more than Gloriosa. The food on our wedding day was outstanding and designing our menu with Gloria and Emma was a delight. They sought to capture our vision for the food, and managed to satisfy our families coming from very different cultural backgrounds. The meal didn’t feel like “wedding food” - it was a gourmet feast with all of the best products the region has to offer. The food was fresh and the team even accommodated a few special requests. Working with the Gloriosa team was an absolute joy. Gloria and Emma take a very personal approach to the planning. It felt like a very good family friend or beloved relative was planning our wedding."

"It's impossible to fully describe how incredible Gloriosa & Co. is in words. The house and the grounds are so charming and filled with unique details - whether it's a flower blooming in the garden or in the nursery, or an antique piece of artwork in the old house, we were so grateful to find such a special setting for celebrating our wedding. The food at our reception dinner and day-after brunch simply transcended what we thought possible for wedding food. Each dish was incredibly well-made, well-plated, and delicious. Emma and her catering team are extremely talented and ensured that every detail was perfectly executed. We are food snobs with high standards, and every course exceeded our expectations. People will not stop talking about how good the food was (including our pies for dessert!). Everything was perfect."
