Every day should be Mother’s Day when you have a mom like Posy! Not only has she been a role model of how to raise my girls, but also my mentor, teacher and best friend. As long as I remember she has been creating and arranging beautiful flowers. We spent our childhood trying on flower crows holding bouquets so she could perfect them and pulled over on the side of the road while she foraged some beautiful greenery growing in the wild. I find myself doing these same things with my young girls! I’ve had the privilege to learn from her over the years, the last 7 as her business partner. As she begins to spend more of her time creating and perfecting her gardens, we feel it is time to update our name. You will now find us as Storey House Flowers!
A little background on our name...my husband and I were able to purchase what was my great grandparents’ home located in the heart of Jefferson, GA. The Dickson-Storey family has lived in this house since the 1880’s! We continue to work to bring the property back to life and have big dreams of a thriving, small cut flower farm. Our plan is to grow local blooms to use in our designs for all occasions throughout the year.
