On Sunday we celebrated these sweet newlyweds with a day full of laughter, tears, and LOTS of glitter (I am still finding it all over our gear 😂) Their wedding day is one we’ve been looking forward to for a long time - and it sure is one to remember! I could barely keep myself together during their private vows and their first dance, where they broke it down on the dance floor, was just too adorable.

If you’ve been around here for more than 10 minutes - you know I LOVE details. We all know the traditions items include in your details (ring, invitations, garter, florals…) but here are some of my favorites items that are often forgotten:
🍾 Family items, like grandma’s ring she is letting you borrow!
🍾 Perfume and Cologne
🍾 Any hair pieces if wearing one and not yet needed for your hair

Fun Fact: Im a big fan of first looks… but we didn’t do one at our wedding. 🫣 Matt, though he is an emotional guy, doesn’t outwardly show his emotions… so any chance of the tiniest water in the eye, we waiting to see each other at the aisle. Spoiler alert… he didn’t cry. Stone cold… haha. 😂 I often hear brides say they don’t want to do a first look because they want to feel the emotion at the aisle… but I am here to say… first looks are full of SO much emotion and, from all the weddings we’ve done, they’ve never taken away from the emotion of the moment walking down the aisle. 🥰 So if you’re on the fence… I’m here to say - go for it!
