It's hard to believe we are already in April! What that does mean, is that Meghan and I only have two more months until we leave for our mission trip to Slovakia, and thankfully, Meghan is able to go this year now that she graduated with her masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling!

Check out the promo video I created from last year's camp! We go to teach conversational English, teach American sports, and most importantly, to share the good news of the Gospel with the youth in Slovakia. If you would be interested in hearing more about what we do or donating, please reach out! We have raised about half of the funds needed for both Meghan and I to go, and I would love to tell you more about why we go, and why we continue to go year after year.

I've been so busy that I haven't had a chance to post anything in a while. But this wedding was special to me for a few reasons... 1) The parents of the groom, Kim + Patrick Jarvis, were my middle school church leaders. 2) The bride, Sam, was one of my students when I led middle school at the same church. And 3) This wedding made it financially possible for me to go back to Slovakia this year.

I realized I never uploaded the final day of the actual Rose Parade, so here it is! Day 6 was a beautiful day for a 5.5 mile march down Colorado Boulevard for the Rose Parade!

It *finally* stopped raining on us on day 5, so we were able to enjoy some fancy window shopping on Rodeo Drive then some great people watching at Venice Beach! We ended the night with a New Years (EST) party so we could get to bed early for the Rose Parade the next day.

We will skip day 3 because well... it rained all day at Disney, so I couldn't shoot anything, and the band cancelled marching in the Disney parade. Day 4... also rained *ALL* day, but we did get to spend a nice evening inside playing games at Dave & Busters!

Over the past week, I was with the Panther Band from Georgia State Bands for the Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena California. Now that we are back home, I wanted to share some of the videos I shot and edited for the band!

Check out my latest project That I shot and edited for the Georgia State Marching Band Championship! The shooting and editing happened all in about a 5 hour span. I shot on a Canon 1DX Mark II and primarily used the Canon 85mm f/1.2L II USM Lens.
