A true heirloom. This elegant rehearsal dinner set the tone with an embossed family crest on the invitations, tying tradition into every thoughtful detail. From napkins to cups to signage, the crest wove its way into the design, honoring generations past while celebrating the future.

Getting ready for my last trip before all things spring! My biggest kiddo is turning 13 next week, and we’ve been so excited to celebrate in Mexico with some friends!

I’ll be out-of-office 10/26-11/3, but it will be all hands on deck once returning! From now till the end of January, it is design time for all the wedding suites for this upcoming spring line-up. 🌸💕

Have my cake and eat it too. This summer I came to the realization that my youngest really hasn’t been getting the same experiences that my oldest had when he was the same age.

True, they’re different kids with different needs, but yesterday I hosted three of his friends so that we could bake and assemble four animal cell cakes, one for each of them. Remember animal cells? Like the mitochondria being the powerhouse of the cell?

Anyway. I love that as a business owner I’m able to make the time and space to grow professionally while maintaining quality time with my kiddos. Is it 50-50? No. If a client spontaneously calls me… you will likely hear a kid in the background. Do I beat myself up occasionally because I’m not doing my best for everybody? Sure.

But at the end of the day, I can look back and see I was able to create beautiful pieces for my clients and make beautiful memories with my now-not-so-littles. And I think everyone could benefit from a little more beauty, mess and all. 🫶🏻

Call me your creative solutions specialist. Washington, DC couple Mollie and Oliver were looking for es**rt cards that not only helped guests get to their table, but would also serve as meal identifiers. Instead of looking for traditional meal icons, we used the different Washington monuments to serve as the helpful hints!

Lincoln Memorial = Filet
White House = Chicken
Washington Monument = Vegetarian

Three truths.

- I officially met my husband as he was hanging chairs from a ceiling as a prank in the 10th grade (him 12th).
- I first crushed on Matt in 6th grade (him 8th) as he was swinging a plastic light saber as Luke Skywalker at our middle school band concert.
- Tomorrow we fly out to be with him on the second half of his work trip! Can. Not. Wait.

Don’t worry … I have checked into the flight and will be sure to pack all the necessary electronics and chargers on my own. 😜😘

Because why not?!Absolutely loved working on this semi-custom suite with so many custom sketches - not only for the invitation but also including detail sketches for the reply card and wrapped vellum.

The Tate House in North Georgia has so many beautiful site features that adding extra special details to Danielle and Philip's suite embellishments was a piece of cake!

My heart.

My sweet boys, Lincoln and Eliot, are the biggest reasons behind my why.

- Why did I start Tinlizzy? To be more than Mom. To show them that their mom is both creative and hardworking, and that growth and change can happen at anytime in your life.

- Why not work a typical job? To be available to my kids, not only as Mom, but to homeschool them, guide and lead them day in and day out.

- Why do I hustle so hard and work weird hours? To be available when they need me, to take them on big adventures, and to provide the best for my family I’m capable of.

It is not easy or glamorous most days being Mom and a small business owner, but I wouldn’t trade what this stationery business has provided my family and me for anything.

Thank you to all couples who have trusted to be part of their special day and milestone celebrations. You are the best 💕

What is letterpress?This timeless, traditional print technique creates depth and texture that is both seen and felt.

Letterpress printing begins with the text or image on a raised surface, much like a stamp. Ink is applied to the plate (or stamp) and then paper is pressed directly against it to transfer the text or image.

How early should I book my stationer?When working with a stationer, it's important to book early to ensure availability and the time investment your suite deserves!

Typically couples book custom stationery 8 months to a year+ in advance for save-the-dates and 6 to 8 months for formal invitations.

Mailing timelines for save-the-dates are 6 to 9 months in advance, while formal invitations are mailed 2 to 3 months in advance.
