Timing is everything!

When it comes to mailing your save the dates, timing is everything! 💌✨ Sending them out 9 months before your wedding gives your guests plenty of time to mark their calendars and make plans. But if you’re saying ‘I do’ at a dreamy destination, bump that timeline up to 12 months in advance so your loved ones can book flights, accommodations, and more.

Save the dates are your first chance to set the tone for your celebration—have you sent yours yet?

2024 recap time!

It was a busy year with…

✨38 weddings
✨ 8 events, including a vow renewal, gala, birthdays and wedding rehearsals
✨ 7 Etsy orders
✨ 3 styled shoots
✨ Highest gross in bookings YTD

This year saw a lot more day-of add-ons, like napkins, and cups, and I can’t even process how many pet and venue sketches were worked up to be incorporated throughout.

When times were slow, I rested and focused on my boys, but I also started some education and work on the new semi-custom offerings.

2025 is promising to be big, bold and colorful! Can’t wait to work with all of my amazing clients, create beautiful wedding suites, and continue to grow Tinlizzy Design Co. in year seven. 🫶🏻

With new followers, I wanted to take a second to introduce myself!I’m Beth 👋🏻

I like creative combinations and color, and I love when I get to bring that to stationery.

I like chatting with couples to get a sense of who they are and bringing that personality to paper.

I like details that begin with stationery and are woven throughout a wedding.

After years of doing this, my favorite moment is packaging up the last suite and knowing the project is exactly what my couple wanted.

Make it personal.Traveling is our family's "thing." If a trip is not on the calendar... well, I can't remember the last time that happened. So, when Ashton and Sam wanted to incorporate destinations they have traveled to or would be traveling to over their honeymoon, I was ready for it!

A true heirloom. This elegant rehearsal dinner set the tone with an embossed family crest on the invitations, tying tradition into every thoughtful detail. From napkins to cups to signage, the crest wove its way into the design, honoring generations past while celebrating the future.

Getting ready for my last trip before all things spring! My biggest kiddo is turning 13 next week, and we’ve been so excited to celebrate in Mexico with some friends!

I’ll be out-of-office 10/26-11/3, but it will be all hands on deck once returning! From now till the end of January, it is design time for all the wedding suites for this upcoming spring line-up. 🌸💕

So many fun couples’ visions to bring to life, and let me tell you, there’s some SUPER pretty stuff coming ahead!

Have my cake and eat it too. This summer I came to the realization that my youngest really hasn’t been getting the same experiences that my oldest had when he was the same age.

True, they’re different kids with different needs, but yesterday I hosted three of his friends so that we could bake and assemble four animal cell cakes, one for each of them. Remember animal cells? Like the mitochondria being the powerhouse of the cell?

Anyway. I love that as a business owner I’m able to make the time and space to grow professionally while maintaining quality time with my kiddos. Is it 50-50? No. If a client spontaneously calls me… you will likely hear a kid in the background. Do I beat myself up occasionally because I’m not doing my best for everybody? Sure.

But at the end of the day, I can look back and see I was able to create beautiful pieces for my clients and make beautiful memories with my now-not-so-littles. And I think everyone could benefit from a little more beauty, mess and all. 🫶🏻

Call me your creative solutions specialist. Washington, DC couple Mollie and Oliver were looking for es**rt cards that not only helped guests get to their table, but would also serve as meal identifiers. Instead of looking for traditional meal icons, we used the different Washington monuments to serve as the helpful hints!

Lincoln Memorial = Filet
White House = Chicken
Washington Monument = Vegetarian
