Thinking about a childhood friend today and how precious life is. I can say with most certainty that she lived more in her 41 years than most do their entire lives. Her zest for life and general joy were something to envy. She found her true love and loved completely no matter the time restraint. Being from a family where both my mama and daddy were taken too soon, I definitely view life in a different lense. I value quality over quantity, I don’t suffer fair weather friends and my time is my most valuable resource. My tribe has been chosen by those who love me most in heaven, totally spook proof and unshakable. I have created an amazing family with my husband, for whom I am most thankful. All I can hope, being raised by the most lovely and first generation southern woman on the planet, is when I leave this place, I leave it better than I found it. I know my friend did that. So in memory of her… be someone’s joy today. I am a redeemed mess, but I am going to make someone’s day brighter today.

Definitely channeled all my Linda LeSueur ness into that arrangement. Here's a little Throwback Thursday to when the floral shop and were both still under construction and we had our very first photo shoot at home with our friend .

It's so fun sometimes to look back at these remember how wild it was at that time with Kacey and I running around like crazy! Trying to open two businesses within the same building, renovating said building, and trying to build our brands within the community.

Maybe that's where a bit of that comes from 😉

Hard to believe this was almost three years ago already!
